How many more synonyms for "circular weather system" are there anyways?
Tier4 Minmatar BS: "Falchion" 8 Highs, 5% falloff and 5% rof bonus per level 5 mids 7 lows.
Tier3 Minmatar BC: "Mace" 8 Highs, 5% rof per level 4 mids 7 lows, 5% armour resist per level. --

Honestly .. I think we have more than enough ships atm in Eve. I remember when you had just the T1 variants and having a BS meant that you had a "hairy set" and were to be feared.
I'd trade in 6 months to a year of "New Content" to have Lagzilla killed, or at least made managable.... currently Lag is the biggest shiitestorm in Eve imho.
But IF we're talkin new ships.... a dedicated Pirate vessel. Solely for "capturing" other people ships in low/nullsec. Shuttle sized, small sig, no armaments but the ability to cloak until you close to within 5k or so of target. You "dock" with this vessel and another players ship, and then can try to "take control" of that ship... summarily ejecting the hapless pilot into space. Chance of success would be based on skillset, but keeping in mind that the "owner" would have a naturally better chance of resisting your takeover.
Just a thought..

Oh this reminds me:
Siege Bombers (new T2 Destroyers) A torp-launching version of the Stealth Bomber. Uses a Destroyer hull and gets a big bonus to torp range and damage, but little or no bonus to explosion velocity. This might be an alternative to a High Sec capital weapons-using POS buster. It might even be better balanced, since these ships could dish out a lot of damage against POSs and larger ships, but in exchange won't be able to defend themselves against POS defenders. You'd also need tanked battleships on-site to draw fire from POS guns.
Well, my ideia its quite the oposite of yours, A anti-ship platafrom with close to BS damage (5-6 hi, launchers slot) but virtualy no tank and very clumsy (high signature, not agile or fast (for a dessie)). Another possibilitie I tougth its to make the ship fast and agile but with a huge penalitie to missile fly time (something like -80%) thus greatly reducing the range(since no one want a long range, high dps, fast ship).
But i rally like the Siege Bomber ideia

Tier 2 electronic warfare frigates:
10% bonus to remote ECCM per level 5% reduction in signature radius per level 10% bonus to remote sensor booster per level
Salvage Industrial:
40% bonus to tractor beam range per level 5% increased salvaged chance per level 6 highs for 3 tractors and 3 salvagers
4000m3 cargo space, very little low slots, t2 shield resists

rather than another t2 for salvage why not just a tier 2 destroyer t1 ofc with similar stats to their tier one counterparts but salvage type bonuses.

To be fair to the OP there is a slightly shonky Amarr missile frig so it's not totally out of the question.
+1 on the (T1) BS.
I also think a decent T1 Gallente drone frig would be a nice idea. |

What would be nice is a change to ship/item production. I know we already have T1, Named, T2, Officer etc module classes, where one is stronger then the previous. The thing is, why not keep the module/ship basically the same strength but different. You could have a ship manufactured like a Harbinger, but it was made slightly more brittle then the standard, thus slightly less armour hp, but higher resists. Same can go for all specs of a ship/module, it can effect range and strength etc. |
