AE l4 bonus room - is it possible?

Ludi Tomina	Posted - 2008.08.18 13:00:00 - [1] Hi everyone, I would like to solo bonus room of AE level4 with dual large armor rep Domi(1950 HP repaired every 12 seconds) and resists of 80%(expl), 70%(kin), 70%/therm) and 50%(EM). I know that DPS in that room is rather large, so i would like thoughts from people who have done it SOLO! Any thougts, advices? Tnx in advance!

Ludi Tomina	Posted - 2008.08.18 16:51:00 - [6] Ok, I did it with the follwing low slot setup: 1 Amarr Navy LAR, 1 LAR II, 2x Armor Expl Hard., 1x Therm Hard, 1 Kin Hard and 1x Cap power relay (to make my Domi cap stable, have only 1 CCC). Had to warp out once, but after that it was walk through park! Thanks you guys for your advices, and now of to shhot that battlestation.....keep fingers crossed for faction loot!
yrknat	Posted - 2008.08.18 18:09:00 - [7] depending on the exact spawn ive done it in 0-2 warpouts in domi. key is getting the towers down fast, then BCs and the weaker BS to reduce the incoming damage. my sp in gallente is not all that, so i have to overload parts of my tank frequently here, but even at all mods over 80% damage is only ~800k to repair = who cares.
CetusOfAsuran well of Urd	Posted - 2008.08.19 11:28:00 - [8] ah, sorry yes towers do thermal, was thinking of another where a certain stage has many EM towers think it was portal to war. anyhoo there is EM damage there to be careful of if you are weak against it Beware the Seraphim(trigger), Throne, Malakim as they all do EM damage, as does Legatus (battlecruiser).

Yeah towers does heavy thermal, but the guardians does alot of EM so you have to be tanked against all forms of dmg. If you're not having named modules like i do just T2 i have to warp away about 2-3 times.

Are we talking about the same mission? IIRC I had to warp out, and couldn't get back to bonus room, since you need another diamond tag each time you use the gate....

That's the level 3 version, not the level 4 version. The tag is not consumed by the Level 4 version.

T2 light drones are good choice for your task. Second, move AWAY from everything because if you come in optimal range for all towers and npc...... 2 LARII cant tank that. As soon as possible, take out 3x cruise towers, they deal very large damage. Auxilary nano pumps also help alot if you armor tank. Also, a friend wont help a lot if you cant tank it because as soon as 1 die/warp away, all agro is on second ship. Use remote reps!

Drake goes in first, and immediately begins moving away while firing on frigates. (I use a 10 mn AB). Friend can then come in, once the drake has all agro. The friend will immediately go to the towers eliminate them. Once the towers are down, the friend then assists the drake in eliminating all the ships. I always kill everythig, for the isk, and on occassion meta 4 stuff that drops. I start with smaller ships and work my way up to eliminate some of their dps. It works, and I have done it solo, but it takes much longer. gl... Mev

Korell Nova	Posted - 2008.08.25 09:43:00 - [17] the bonus room isnt that hard tbh with an armor tanker just omni tank your ship and when u warp in move away from the grps at top speed with your ab on sniping off the cruisers and frigs as u do so. once you are around 100km from the nearest cruise battery turn and pop the bs's as u head back in. leaving the trigger till after you have popped the cruises. also u want to pop the frigs asap as they can web you down and then things can get dicey.
