What's wrong with asymmetric ships? I love the ship design in this game, especially the fact that they are not the same old boring streamlined shapes. The Moa may be ugly, but it does stand out aesthetically, and can be identified from a distance, which is a useful trait.
There is always the issue about mass and where the thrusters are placed, but if you think about the physics too much, it would take away from the enjoyment of the game. Why not just imagine the fact that there are stabilising thrusters placed around the ship to balance out the mass, and that they just do not leave contrails like the main thrusters.
Let's have more bizarrely shaped ships, please. Ships like the Typhoon or the Scorpion have a unique character because of the lack of symmetry.
Did the lack of symmetry in the Millenium Falcon really spoil anyone's enjoyment of Star Wars?

Well we need new ships and new colors/tiers eventually so why not just change all the caldari ships during that upgrade?

Some of the simple off set items on certain ships like the megathorn and the Rokh are alright but when we get to ships like the Raven and the Scorpion it almost looks as though someone has beaten them with a base ball bat, seriously

I don't know bout the rest of you but i like the asymmetry of the gallante ships, the caldari ships are a bit off though, like the white box that marks the center when you select your own ship inst center screen on caldari ships. |

The Rokh needs 8 Missile launchers to be a "hybrid" ship like it says in the descriptions which leads me to my next point:
Where do missiles come from? Perhaps launcher models should be implemented as well as Caldari symmetry changes
