Huge props to the guy who asked the question about disconnects.
Just last night actually i was floating in space thinking everything was ok until i tried to talk to someone and it started beeping at me every time i hit Enter key to send my message. Eve sometimes sits disconnected for many many minutes without informing you that you've been DC'd
This is a fairly serious thing when you're sitting there alone waiting for something to happen
Also, all the followup questions/suggestions about this same thing shows how big of an annoyance this is. This is one of those things that would be appreciated by everyone!
I also need to confirm that

So what do you guys say about Dust 514 Battlefield Roles presentation. It-¦s probably best part of FanFest for me till now.
There was a lot of interesting informations about the game and have to say i am getting pretty enthusiactic about it, im specially satisfied with the way they integrated EVE world into ground battles and soldiers skill and classes seem to be very intriguing.
if there was only PC version on the horizont, that would be great ... |

i have headphones in my ears and sound is full i still can hardly hear the stream
i had to put my sound balance all to the left
now i can hear better in BOTH left and right
ccp fix your balance levels in your audio lol |

Whatever encoder is being used for the pre-recorded videos is introducing a pretty massive amount of audio static into the feed.
Not just the bus ones either; the EvE TV logo clip was experiencing the same issue. |

When EVE TV itself, not in the presentations, show a recorded video there is a lot of static. and the EVE Fanfest 2012 transition bit also has a lot of static. |

Hey guys. The guy in the truck, dont worry. Apart from the first days stream where you had slight sound issues, the fanfest stream has been great for me this year.
I would allmost say its been flawless...... Allmost

EDIT - CCP dont push your employees to be on this eve tv too much. You can tell they are fine for the start but at times it seems they really dont want to be there. Give them a break, show us some other stuff.
EDIT 2 - Sorry for the double post, but yes the annoying static is back....... ONLY on prerecorded videos it seems.

Hi to all of Eve Fanfest watchers in HD.
I used IE x64 but it lagged every time the stream so I changed to Firefox and voli+á it works, only one thing bugs me: the montage sound is full of noise, but rest of the stream is perfect :)

Stream is much much better today. Only had 2 very minor hickups since it started, each about 2 seconds long =P

Agreed no other mmo is worth playing after you're addicted to eve. Prolly why i get so worried at any mention of pvp nerfs =P
For my PvE fix I'm much happier playing singleplayer games like Baldurs gate (OMG BG REMAKE COMING!), fallout, etc, i dont bother with pve mmo's
