If i get a friend with me doing level 4 missions, will he be able to use level 4 agents quicker than doing level 1 then level 2 and then 3?

both answers depend on skills - he will get more standings and increase if he has those skills trained - but if he is already a trained character and has good skills he might be able to get there quicker blitzing missions.
In the end this is an MMO so your better off doing the missions together and having a good time because at the end of the day if you aren't having fun then you need to do something different. |

it really depends on both your skills and ships. If both of you get in to a good mission chaining rhythm, then you will both gain standings (and isk) faster than you would with individual solo missions.
edit:
If you are only looking for standing gain then the quickest way would be for you to boost him up to use lvl3s and then let him solo/blitz his was to lvl4. This calculation includes standings gained from storyline missions.

Well if you run lvl 4s on 1 agent wont you get him access to that agent in a hurry?
But in general I think the best idea is to each run agents separate but fleet up with your buddy right before turn ins.(I think that works.) |

Your best bet is to run Level 4 missions with both characters - faster completion times, then turn them in as a gang. This has worked very well in my experience. |

Certainly!
If you buddy has Connections 4, it shouldn't take more than 15-30 missions (depending on the quality of the agent) before he will have enough agent standings to work directly for that same agent you were sharing missions from.

Yes, that works too. There is no need for him to tag along for the missions. He doesn't even need to be in the same region. He need only be in the same fleet as you when you turn in the missions. |

if u are both in gang and and u are telling agent u completed them together u will gain standing faster than doing lvl 1's/2's (not sure about lvl 3's). Also you may increase your friends standing with the agent enough that he should be able to use that agent if he can't use the rest of the corps lvl 4 agents.
the main downside is that u can't complete faction missions together (well u can but he won't get any standing for it), still it's a good way to get him up to lvl 3's or be able to use the agent u r focusing. |

If you form fleet with your friend, for every lvl4 mission at the same agent (you must confirm missions in the name of you and your fleet), after 15-20 missions the agent will become available for your friend too (when his standing to the agent will be high enough).
