First of all, anyone that flies nanoed to **** ships should never speak of skill, nano ships are ******ed and it takes no skill to be very efficient in a nanogang.
Secondly, blobbing sucks and if you dont like it, come join me for blobless, nano***less, smallgang warfare fun in The Movement :)
I really miss KIA and i loved my time with them but enough is enough, blobs are the devil!
And like allways, good luck to everyone, hope you have fun!
(but with reports of 100+ on each side i doubt it)
EDIT: Also never beat your chest in victory over killing Hydra. Its no achivement...

Anyone that says it takes no skills to nano, has never been in a proper nano ship. simple as that.

sorry, it is exactly what you are saying.
once committed to a fight there should be no option to abort, as per your two posts.
seems you want eve-easy, you have more skillpoints than me so it should be a default win? at least thats what it reads like.
and please leave exceed out of it. i ve been in the corp for maybe a week.
nice bunch of people though and clearly they must have done something right that you react so annoyed.

Nearly every space holding alliance has some pact with others to defend space, and lots of them won't fight unless you make a move on their space which then brings the blob.

End of the day we took out Hydra because they were weak and close to empire and provided the space to get fights we knew the blob would come but we didn't expect them to hang about as we've already broken sov 4 so they are arriving late. All the while the GBC is in Deklein killing off IRON....
That is a good question. I guess that you could attack AAA, TCF or someone like that. I doubt that they would call in allies as both should be more than able to defend their space and probably want fights. Of course both are far harder to crack than hydra. Other than that perhaps some of the "mercenary" outfits would work too. Basically hit someone who should be close to you in strength and besides I dobut that you guys are that interested in holding space so just getting good fights should be good enough. :)

Weekend is over - what was the outcome.
PS- Not asking for forum smack, just want to know how the fighting (if any) went.
Ps - the game is going to be played the way ppl want to choose, no matter how/who tries to convince the other they are the (insert insult) on CAOD. So can we just end that crap now?

Not a whole lot. The NC (again) put a bunch of our POS's in TVN in reinforced mode. Sunday, there were about 70 Tri in TVN, with local at 400, peaking to over 450, for several hours. They also anchored some POS's in TVN of their own. Well, Pure did, Hydra has given up.
At some point, Tri was attempting to fight (even in 5 minute lag, and even against those numbers). We were locating their fleets and doing drivebys*. In between, we would warp back to our POS. MM Cyno'd a titan in 100km off the POS, he put in the password to the POS, hit the DD, and killed our entire 60 man sniper BS / support gang. After that, most of us said F--k this, and let them do whatever it is they think they were accomplishing in TVN.
I'm sure we will rep our POS modules and reinforce their pos's over the next few days, and all this will reset and we can do it again next weekend, and the next, and the next.
Just as an aside, I think that the DDD through POS shields is horribly broken, and needs to be addressed by CCP. I hadn't been following the forums, and didn't even know that was possible.
GG northern coalition, you engaged us with 6.3:1 odds.
So, the answer to your question of "what was the outcome?" is pretty much "what you'd expect when fighting the NC."

The DD through pos has been known since titans first appeared on TQ.
Nm, the reason we were hit was our own arrogance and belief that (in this case) MM wouldn't dare using their titans on the offensive. Leason learned, they will with 300 in local and we have changed password. Afaik we have used that password in all the time we have held space. No metagaming involved in that.

just occured to me, all this talk about we dont want Tri as neighbors, well if your fightin us this hard with this many people and not even showin up to even ATTEMPT to save VFK I guess you like BoB better than Tri, which is quite the statement to make..

Both AAA and TCF would probably not ask for help (I guess that goons could show up if they are bored though but that's like having BoB close by coming for a visit like already happened). And what ever you say there is far less of them than there is of NC so it should result in less lag. But I also said that they would hardly be a nice soft target like hydra was.
It's probably hard to find a soft target that doesn't have a lot of friends. They don't seem to last that long for some reason.

After all TRI had to Nap the entire north to gain ground against Sparta the first time. Turnabout isn't fair play? Who hasn't seen this act from TRI before? And Executive Outcomes smacking Tortuga as Hyena's... LoL. Tortuga fought and took stations as an entity, what has Executive outcomes done? Held Bobs coat, polished his shoes and gotten his lunch there on time? Executive Outcomes are expert Bob bikini wax technicians and that's about it. @ TRI and Executive Outcomes, being Bob's houseboy ain't much of an accomplishment.

reread my post i never confirmed anything, your making out like we blobbed the crap out of sparta when in reality MM/Razor were tied up with Mpire/CoW and Fatal, we simply took out you, Vx and some other crappy alliance in Deklein.
we did one joint op which was to remove a pos suspected of being used to construct a mothership.
want to revise history you gotta make it first.
