When the IPO was issued, I bought 100M worth of Kwint stock, and it has paid the promised 1.25% per week ever since, quite steadily.
Now I'd like to get out because I think I can put my ISK to work in my own business. I first thought about just EVEmailing Kwint and asking if he'd buy back, but then it occured to me that there may be some people in here willing to buy my stocks.
1.25% per week is a little over 5% per month, which is notably better than EBank.
I'd like to sell the entire stock on one lump. Bids start at 100M ISK, and go up in 1M ISK increments.
Who's bidding?

Part of the initial offer was a 2-week notice buy back system. If you would like me to buy back any shares I promise to do so with in 2 weeks of being told, usually much less. It's never been used and the the shares have been trading at 1.15M per share (face value and buy back of 1M) but if you would like to I'll happily buy them back, I'll even do it right now.

Actually, I just did the calculator thing (out-of-game, of course) and found out that 1.25% per week adds up to slightly more than 6% per month. Not "a little over 5%".
(This is just me trying to drive the price up, of course...)

Trying to value this investment opportunity: can you please show your work for this "calculation"?
If we assume that a month has, on average, 4.5 weeks, then the monthly return would be (1.25% + 4.5) = 5.625%. Of course, no month in the Gregorian calendar actually has as many as 4.5 weeks, so the average monthly return is even lower, isn't it?

I got an EVEmail asking me if I'd be willing to close the deal early, but I have to reject this. My terms are tha the highest bidder by midnight UTC gets the stocks. (Originally I wanted to be greedy and say the highest bid by the end of downtime tomorrow, but I changed my mind before posting).
By my clock, midnight UTC is a little less than 3 hours away.

I did 1.125^4 which gives 1.06 and small change, thus 6% per 4 weeks. True that almost all months have slightly more than 4 weeks in them, but I wanted to err on the low side.
Was my method wrong?
If so, I apologize. but either way, 5%, 5.6%, or 6%, those stocks are fairly good if you have some ISK you don't know what to do with, and if you don't trust the higher-paying small banks.

Oops, sorry, I was wrong. My method doesn't give 6% and small change, but rather slightly more than 5%. I'm deeply sorry, and I have no idea what specific error I made in order to get 1.0125% to become 1.06 and small change.
Sorry, sorry, sorry. You'll get very slightly more than 5% every 4 weeks. I hope you can forgive me.

I hope you're happy with your purchase. To be honest, I hadn't hoped to get as much for the shares as I ended up with. But I guess it just shows that investment opportunities are few.
