Pride in one's accomplishments - I recall there was much "chest beating" amongst the Caldari when you topped us in terms of conquered systems. Much talk of "we're fighting for space, you're just looking for fights..".

If you get into a fight and leave your oponent alive, then you shouldn't have fought in the first place, as your convictions are weak. This is not about ego, insults and broken honor. It looks to me you are fighting for the wrong cause, or whatever sexy parafernalia was sold to you through your egonics set.
What we do we do it not for us, not for glory, not for advertising. Its hard work, we use our own resources and our own time, for the good of our people and our space.
On the other hand, people like you, when you see its not entertaining anymore, or there is no profit on it, you will turn around and leave.

Warfare is about moer than who has the biggest guns. being able to HIRE the biggest guns is an equally valid way to prosecute a conflict.
