Has there been any word on when they plan to implement the changes to speed and such that are currently running on SiSi? NOt wanting to hear your opinion on it or to give mine just want to know when it is scheduled to be deployed IF they have announced it. Thx. --------------------------------------------- "There have always been ghosts in the machine . . . random segments of code that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. " |

Yes. Everyone subscribes to an RSS feed that tells us exactly what CCP is planning and when they are doing it. News definitely isn't posted on the news page, dev blogs ,or talked about in general discussion.

Last I heard the speed tweaks were moved from SiSi on to Multiplicity to make room for testing the EMP 1.1 patch.
It will not be deployed until all the kinks have been worked, like missiles killing everything for instance. Also the small matter of legitimate speed tanks like stabber/vaga needing something to make speed viable, won't be MC Hammer "Can't touch this" like it is now, but to give enough time to kill a target like any other tank has.
Personally I don't expect it will go live for at least another 3+ months, after the EMP 1.1 is deployed there will be a period of tweaks to that one first, only then can the speed patch become real.
To Summarize: Don't sell you polycarbed ships yet, they will be pimping-uber for the foreseeable future

You left out drones, but this, tbh.
Drone ships and Missiles were highly overpowered on the Sisi speed test. Vagabond killing interceptors (with snakes) within a a minute makes me a sad panda. |

Todo List for speed nerf:
-Fix missiles so they dont hit everything always
-Fix drone speeds so you can hit em with reduced web
-Fix speed tanking so the vaga/stabber is actually flyable
feel free to quote and add stuff.

There has been NO word and that's a bloody shame. They need to address the lag/desync issues now.

Didnt they use to have dev chats that one could attend before patches in the old days so all us nervous players can ask questions and get answers in real time?
