Zephyr Rengate dearg doom	Posted - 2008.08.26 11:41:00 - [1] Just recently got a Terry Brooks novel, 1st of three I think. Sword of Shannara. Its ok but a bit cliche. The main thing thats really bugging me about the book is the constant use of "several". Its the only bloody number he seems to use. Several moments, several hundred yards, seven years, etc. I'm not joking its really ****ing me off. I've been sighing irl everytime he uses several. Thats about a sigh everyfew pages. Of all the things going on in the world atm this is the biggest pain to me.

In my time reading these books I also noticed that Brooks used the word several, several more time then was necessary.
