hey! so i want to start with pirating me and som frends so what im wondering is that what ships is good for pirating must be able to tank sentrys i fly all amar and minmatar ships except CS so any setups for huricane hardbringer zealot sacrlige or any other suited ships for this job is most welcomed got all t2 guns for those to races to,thanks for any respond.

in that case you're setups are going to be built around your tanks (dual-reps + resists) unless you have the numbers to use gank-fits (lots of dmg + high ehp)...
Get EFT and play around in that, will help you a lot.

ah ^^ but will the zealot hold the sentrys? while tanking i have the numbers to gank fit but is it viable ? target + sentrys on me?

I'm very surprised that someone who can fly all the t2 ships he listed with T2 guns and all that (meaning, played a while) doesn't know what ships to fly and how to fly them...
If you bought the char, either learn the ropes in frigates/cruisers like every other newbie, or expect to sell quite a bit of GTCs.

hopefully you have friends....if not you will die at that gatecamp in no time. Get some friends and have them help tank the sentrys, but unless you have a decent sized group, or a BS with logistic support (guardian anyone?) you will most likely die when the first ''real'' fight comes along

m8 i know how to fit my ships for gang pvp and solo and al that, but im aksing for setups for pirating as i never have done any pirating i wanted advise from exsperienced pirates that know whats work best.

sentries do 350ish dps, mostly kinetic/thermal. They switch targets every 30 seconds among all those who are flagged including their drones (they can in fact switch from you straight back to you, ie on you for 60 seconds) so as long as you aren't solo, the dps you need to tank sentries drops considerably. Use t1 throwaway drones, they'll die but they'll absorb sentry damage for you.
The only difference in fits pvp wise is that in low sec active tanking is somewhat viable, assuming you aren't just going to get steamrolled by some fw blob gang.
