Oh, hello again, gentle CAOD reader. I was just about to step out. Is it that time again so soon? Goodness. Well, I suppose I could take a few moments to speak with you about Eve.
I'd like to say a few words about this whole "MAX" business. I can't tell you the number of times people have asked me what the deal is with BoB and its bizarre MAX campaign. Well, it's really quite simple. The MAX campaign is not bizarre. Like everything else BoB does, there is a clear logic to it. Everything BoB does has a purpose, and most of the time the purpose is to hide their insecurities and make themselves appear greater than they actually are. This time, however, the purpose... No, wait, on second thought, it's the same this time, too.
As the historian of Eve Online, it is my responsibility to make certain judgments so that ordinary people can understand the developments of the Eve universe and put them in their proper context. I take this responsibility very seriously. If for any reason I were unable to objectively and intelligently evaluate the universe and set aside my personal biases, I would cease posting in CAOD immediately. Fortunately, I have no biases, so rather than concerning myself with such things, I just let the posts fly.
Today, I will explain why the MAX campaign has doomed BoB's reputation (such as it was) forever and marks a turning point in the history of Eve. We now live in, for lack of a better term, the post-BoB era of Eve. When SirMolle announced the MAX campaign, he admitted, for the first time, the defeat of his old alliance and its descent into irrelevance.
To understand why this is the case, one need simply ask oneself (or better yet, me, since I actually know the answer) why BoB created the "MAX" concept in the first place. Some people will tell you that BoB was looking for an excuse to stop the grind of fighting the Goons. Others will say that BoB wanted to put a label on the standard "pick a region and try to conquer it" mode of play so that they could take credit for yet another thing in Eve they didn't actually create. And still others will say that BoB simply wanted attention, as it always does.
These are all decent answers, but they are not the correct one. The reason why BoB attached itself to the name "MAX" is because the name "BoB" no longer inspires the fear it once did. Once upon a time, in the pre-YACAODI1MAC era, people trembled at the thought of being attacked by BoB. That simple, three-letter name would make the leader of any alliance blanch. Since it no longer does, BoB needed a new three-letter name to inspire fear. Hence, "MAX."
After months of wearying defeat, bad press, territorial loss and mockery-inspiring additions of Shinra-style corps, SirMolle was sick of BoB. In his heart, he really wanted to recreate BoB under a new name. But that would be an admission of defeat. Instead, SirMolle decided he would rename BoB without actually taking a new name.
But the disguise failed. History would forever record the MAX campaign as the marker of BoB's spiritual death. It was also really lame.
And now for our latest update on the events that have taken place since my last update on the events that had taken place after previous updates on events that took place.
* Band of Brothers regained control of the Period Basis region.
* Band of Brothers regained control of the Querious region.
* Band of Brothers took control of part of the Pure Blind region.
* Band of Brothers took control of part of the Fade region.
* Band of Brothers took control of part of the Deklein region.
This has been the fourth hundred days.

Hello CAOD reader. I'm here to give a little backstory on why this post was made.
You could ofcourse think its yet another ranting flame thread, well it isnt.
You could think its a well written article with relevant information, well it isnt.
What it is, another thread from a goon to make sure everyone see theres still goons, because they do nothing really interesting in eve itself besides docking up as soon as a neutral enters system or mine out the desolate places no one bothers to even look at.

Right now I see BoB making pretty consistent progress against the NC. Goons and RA have both made themselves scarce, and frankly without a serious anti-BoB coalition backbone, there aren't too many groups large and strong enough to fight them effectively.
Seems like all the recent infighting has fragmented anti-BoB connections.

I had claimed that our plans were working, because territory loses or not, we were getting fights, so it was a win situation. Now IMHO we shouldn't be too harsh with the Thread starter...after all, the only reason Goons exist is to provide a faint counterpart to BoB...and faint it is, but nonetheless they do exist.
If James 315 is living a phantasmagoria, again it's not his fault : some people were irreparably affected by the Goons propaganda over the months/years.
During the recent past events, the existence of Goonswarm was questioned by many humble inhabitants of CAOD and only after looking at Sov Maps people saw that Goons still exist.
Of course this kind of thinking is deeply and badly affecting the TRUE Goon like James 315.And he decided to try and let the people of CAOD know that Goons still exist not only on a Sov Map but also on the forums.
For that, we must appreciate at least his efforts!
Anyways, everything he says in his posts (except the part with Regions controlled by BoB) are a pretty well-written Science Fiction Novel.
The effects of the MAX campaign are already felt by NC the hard way...now about what the future holds for us, well , that only time will be able to tell.
Until then, just try to fly safe and fight more and post less on CAOD (this is for non-goons of course).

Lets see shall we my young padawan? Lets talk about what BoB has so far achieved during it's MAX campaign shall we?
Taken multiple stations, all of them at one point cyno jammed.
Taken down several cyno jammers in systems with multiple hostile titans in system.
Killed on 2 separate occasions 6 motherships, 3 in one battle, 3 in another. No one has even killed 2 motherships in one battle, let alone 3.
Killed a Titan right after killing another cyno jammer in the system of VFK that the NC said was going to bleed BoB dry.
Have taken well over 100 high end moon POS's from RA and NC. Result from high end moons confiscated: feather that broke RA's already splintered backbone.
But, goons were able to take down SMASHKILL........lawls. Here's a cookie. Congrats on that stupendous, nearly impossible task!
I guess using this information by all means then BoB has gotten their asses handed to them

Yes, thats right folks! Goons created the tactic of invading a region. No alliance pre this original concept has had the ingenious battle plan of invading a region, kicking out their inhabitants, holding 40% of the stations(still), installing pets in the other 6 stations, and going home trying to convince themselves its as good as Delve -it does have a npc constellation after all! Your intelligence and cunning on the battlefield will go down in EVE history along with the other greats such as Goon Positioning System and ofc blindly suiciding yourself.

With all this original tactical content your gracing us with in this thread you seem to have forgotten the bit where your enemy had been fighting multiple alliances allied to you in the Drone regions for many months prior to your gloriously executed campaign. I guess its hard to remember about the peons whilst atop your high throne.
BTW, thats called a burn, it stings I know. I've got some aloe for sale though, hit me up ingame.
