My Raven setup (stock Raven, most missions ought to be a breeze in a CNR):
Cruise II x6 (Arbalest have the same stats; I use II coz they're cheaper) + whatever - I use a couple of small lasers for the frigs.
XL SB II, 2x Ditrigonal thermal, 2x non-inertial ballistic, SBA II. Faction stuff may save CPU and/or PG; I use the named stuff to save CPU.
BCU II x2, PDS II x2, DCU (best named you can manage; DCU II won't fit). I use Internal Forcefield Array.
CCC I x3. And finally; 5 hammerheads and 5 hobgoblins. Use t2 if you like; I don't bother because I'm a cheapskate. 
This is a very tight fit. PG isn't a problem, but CPU is; some of the named stuff is there because the fit won't work without it. If you are prepared to splash out on faction gear - which you probably are if you are using a CNR - then it might well be easier. I wouldn't waste the eighth highslot; put a small gun or medium AC on there to use on those annoying frigs. (NOT a smartbomb - at least in highsec.) You might even put on the module that increases drone range.
Why this fitting? Most of it is obvious, but the DCU gives extra resists that are not stacking nerfed; and it also gives armour resists for the tough times and even hull resists if you really screw up. The PDS are not necessary for power, but do give extra shields, extra shield recharge, extra cap and better cap recharge all in the same module.
For missions that have a heck of a lot of incoming DPS early on, carry and fit at least a couple of loads of faction missiles; it makes tank breaking a lot easier. And use Wrath (kinetic); in my experience it's best for Serpentis.
Some Serpentis missions need a different fit in the mids. Drop one of the kinetic hardeners for a sensor booster with a range script; being damped down to 20km is a real pain and may be hazardous.
And finally, KILL THE SCRAMBLING FRIGS FIRST! (Guardian frigates are the ones, normally.)
PS: If you have decent skills, a Golem may be better still.
