Very good PDF, good points raised. I hope many of these points/issues are fixed by EVE development.

Nice compilation, but some of the points (such as searching items in all containers or using single menu for autolinking) would cause a horrible impact to performance on server side.

Wait, I thought the russians were the ones that invented the "log-offski" and other such jack-assery. Why would you need interfac refinements when all you really need is Ctrl-Q?

Searching containers in assets no more impacts performance than existing searching in assets, because, afaik, it will add only one more condition to SQL DB search query.
As described in list, using menu for autolinking is proposed to use in such way that it will not allow users to send autolink requests too often.

Maybe in a sane database, but based on some hints ccp gave with regards to thier database design, this one is normalised to hell.

It may be so and it may doesn't. I think discussing potential performance impact is quite pointless because only CCP' developers are really know what can be done and what cannot be considering performance.
Anyway, during creation of this report we tried to get performance issues as much as we can as players (although I'm itself programmer and Arengor is game developer).

Can these people signing like, enable corp tab? I'm very much for this idea, but a ton of nocorp alts posting /signed really doesn't get anything across.

This is the best list of EVE usability bugs I have ever seen. Impressive!
Here my 2 cents: >> Make active" and "Trash it" ship' context menu items should not be near each other. (Because it is very easy to click ôTrash itö (and accept it in pop-up window) when ejecting from a shuttle to a carrier or officer-fitted 2bil cost battleship).<< The same is true for POSes "Offline" next to "Manage" in context menu. The second you need every time you touch a POS, but the ofllineing is really scarry there and rarely used. Should be available only inside the POS management pages, maybe next to switch on/off Force Field.
"There must be automatic categorization of bookmarks by systems û not one gigantic list of them." I disagree in this point. I dont group them by system, but by topic. Bookmarks for POSing, for trading, for fighting... So manual grouping must still be possible.
Some things forgotten:
During Drag and Drop scrolling up/down must be activated when reaching the bottom/top of a window/list. Otherwise you cannot drop something from a large list to another list below/above it. Just compare it with any drag and drop in windows.
Mail should support multiple addresses, addrss lists, CC, forwarding, auto reply, self defined spam filter, etc. This is standard in every mail program today. And EVE is based on communications, so pimp the mail system!
/signed 1000 times! Eve G.
P.S.: One comment to the devs: I had russian colleagues myself. Don't get ****ed by their "lack of polite words"! They simply dont use words like please, would, should etc. Its their way and not meant as beeing inpolite. I had to get used to that style too

It's up to them. Anyway, they're not "no-corp alts" - it can be seen ingame by searching for our characters (so devs can see that they are real players). Also, in thread on eve-ru forums there are more than 70 distinct accounts (not alts) that voted for idea.

Yes, you are right. I will add this into next revision of list then.

I just mean that on their creation bookmarks are placed in folders with system names. Player can move them to his own folders.

I think it is too much (if you're serious). Mail is fine as it is now - just let the bugs be fixen.

Actually just prior posting on this forum final version I had several suggestions on eve-ru forums about text style of the list (about its "politeness"). I must note that style of the list is just technical text style, constrained by the need of translation from russian language. So, because of it, in some parts it can feel impolite (but in reality it is not).

This list will have several revisions, each supplemented with newly reported usability problems/fixes only (i.e. no gameplay features, no game mechanics proposals, no balance changes and no audio/graphics effects change proposals).
For starting formal examination of this report by CCP, should I post each item of it as separate bug report through standard bug reporting page?

From what I can see you mention two possible bugs. They should should be reported using the bug reporting system. The rest of these are feature requests, you are requesting changes to existing design, they are currently in the correct place; this forum.
Thank you for putting effort into making this document.
