The fact that Chribba puts in huge amounts of time and money into the community as has been said. But whats not been pointed out is that as he has shaped significant aspects of the community. Because of this theres almost a Chribba brand now and the Veldnaught was a part of that. That brand is collectively owned by the community, as an idea of whats good about Eve. What I'm trying to say is that CCP didn't just remove a capital from highsec, they removed the communities flagship.

The unanimous decision was that the community needed nerfing and that the veldnaught should be the first to go. Other matters covered were how to annoy a lot of people most easily, and on how to deal with people who care about the game. For efficiency it was decided that the above measure without providing a reason was sufficient. On next weeks agenda is the issue of people incorrectly utilising the sandpit.

People are just jealous m8. Yeah ok, but there were no massive 50 page threads about how high sec dreads were 'Killing Eve'. I think the fact that no reason or warning has been given is the real kicker here.
