Hi All,
Idea is simple. To create a batch market order.
It would be like setting up an ordinary market order except, you could list multiple items simultaneously. Attached is a concept table as to what it might look like.
 Please visit your user settings to re-enable images.
This idea could be create options for blueprints whereby manufacturers right click the blueprint and select an option like 'Batch Buy Order to Procure Materials required'. This might be followed by a dialogue box asking 'Number of [ITEM] to produce', then the batch order would automatically incorporate the blueprint ME and your skills to specify the exact quantity per item required.
Idea would also be extremely useful for traders whereby you can list your wares quickly and efficiently.
Explanation of table:
Type: type in the name of the object and it would search for the item (like the usual search functions)
Quantity: you specify/automatically done via blueprint option
Lowest sell: shows you the lowest listed sell price within the range specified
Highest best: shows you the highest listed buy price within the range specified
Range filter: specify how far you want to look for buy/sell orders
Status: whether you are buying or selling that particular item
Gross: Quantity x Sell/Buy Price
Brokerage: your brokerage x list price
Total: If buying = list price + brokerage; If selling = list price - brokerage
Rest are self explanatory with the exception of Total ISK required for this order, which is simply how much you have to spend upfront. Eg. All of the brokerage charges plus (escrow x Margin Lending skill).
Finally, the necessary idiot proofing. A dialogue box to confirm your order, followed by a second dialogue box whereby you type in: CONFIRM. |

I also like this idea! 
It could also reduce lag, because you do not need to check several pages for prices anymore.

But you would need to define a price range that is acceptable for you to buy/sell.
Otherwise your easy shopping could end in a disaster...

Market macroing FTW. Lets just write scripts to play every part of the game for us. 
I swear some people already macro thier market orders to automaticly go through all thier orders and beat everyone by .01 or .06 or whatever value they pick, every 15 minutes.
That or they play eve for hours, just to update thier market orders.
