I'm sorry, but only a hoplelessly delusional re1ard could possibly believe BoB partake in entirely 'risk-free' gameplay, when only a few days ago they hotdropped into an NC cap fleet which was;
* larger than theirs
* had grid load advantage
* had support in system
And they lost 14 dreads doing so (but as we all know, killed a lot more. How the hell is that 'risk-free'?

 There are ways and means. One key method results from excellent intel and infiltration. Without both, BOB don't go to the toilet. With both, they engage only to win - almost every time. The assets they bring to a fight are disposable too, as their income level is so high they don't need to worry about losses. Unlike some other alliances who went mad for dyp/prom moons, BOB members aren't known for selling the resulting isk, so it gets reinvested. That's one reason so many people boast that joining them, or just joining their naptrain, allows them to play eve on easy mode - without the risks that others need to run to play eve at that level.

As in risks of getting banned for selling isk?
Dude every alliance can sorta play in easy mode if the members are willing to contribute.
I've seen it even on corp lvl, donating 25% of all income to the corp and bang cap ship program runs smooth and backup capitals as well in matter of weeks.

And who in eve plays to lose? Who in eve hotdrops without intel? Who engages an enemy without assessing strengths and weaknesses?
Regarding spies, they are a legitimate gameplay facet and everyone (pretty much) uses them, so that as a critisism loses value when directed solely at BoB. It is a criticism of the wider gaming community.

Hey! I resemble that remark. The 'MC' involved was me. And part of that plot involved a coup to remove Droewa as Alliance leader of FIX and replace him with someone less bob-friendly! Hell, even he was threatening to set BOB neutral over spying and poaching, hence the opening. I've never made a secret that I want BOB and Goons gone. I've told BOB directly .. I've told Goons directly. My history on this goes back YEARS. So where is the cowardice? BOB were an employer and landlord who I was happy to use to kill Goons - when they failed to do that they had outlived their usefulness to me. At least I TRIED to do something about that, unlike most of the mealey mouthed minions who watch the games politics from the safety of hundred plus blobs.
So I failed. *shrug* The game goes on. Whether I get the chance to make a difference again in the future, only time, and my interesting in EVE, will tell.

You can laugh, laddie, but during the BOB v IAC battles in Catch last autumn, one of the IAC US TZ FCs was a bobbit, and spent his time equally between trying to get you in gang and arranging on the BOB command channel how to get as many of you killed as possible. Which tbh, was pretty pathetic given the GBC so heavily out classed you at the time. It was around then that MC walked out - we just didn't enjoy playing eve like that.
BOB continues to this day only getting involved in serious fights where there is no risk - no adrenaline - no chance of a serious defeat. However clever a supercap gank is - they are STILL borrrring when you have nothing at stake.

Well, given that CEI happily recruited one of our alts a while back (who is still enjoying her say), I don't really think you're in the best position to talk about recruiting standards
And actually, I don't especially like BoB, I just think they are a lot better than you.
