I love those cheesy 'B' movies, both horror and Sci-fi. The silly plots and corny dialogue never cease to make me laugh all the way through.

How can Fifth Element be bad?!
Fifth element is a brilliant movie! it doesnt take itself seriously so if you do that makes YOU a bad viewer, not fifth element a bad movie!
The world needs to start to understand that as well as 'bad movies', there are also 'bad viewers'

Fifth Element is a great film! Very creatively put together. I still haven't got it on DVD yet, admittedly, but it's a good film

You just named some of my favorites.
And Demolition Man? Totally awesome if you view it in the proper light. It's not a serious film, but something I'm sure that Pratchett envies.
And Hudson Hawk? See above.

I think Demolition Man was a pretty good, fun film.
Dredd. Well, nice attempt but I see it like the original Batman movies. As in that hopefully someone will realise there is a wonderfully ftory to be told, then pick it up, wipe the slate totally clean, and do it again properly.
... but then I'm a big Dredd fan, as any Dredd fan will know from my name!

Mean Guns (1997)
It's a decent movie. Not horrible, not serious. Quite enjoyable, but not so good that you can honestly say you loved it. Yet I did.
Watch Battle Royale (2000) for a better version of the same theme. |
