I know of a few 0.0 corps that "farm" LP from pirate factions and regularly dump large quantities of LP Items on the market. They might be RMT but more likely they are just financing there 0.0 operation.
There is no reason why an Empire corp cannot use the same methods to aquire large numbers of CNR or other LP items for bulk sale, hell I reakon some of the RP corps might even do a similar thing.
Anyhow this isn't my game so I aint going to get hung up on weather some one who sells me stuff has/hasn't broke the EULA. Even with all the evidence CCP have they find it difficult to track RMT's. We as players can only make assumptions and probably poor ones too.

A player farms lps.........swaps them for a cnr.....sells it to F900.......so far no problem........whats happens to the isk F900 handed over? There's the problem.
So F900 isn't part of the problem and can do nothing to stop RMT.
The money F900 handed over may get sold for $$$ and if so will be taken from the buyers account and so only the buyer loses out. Eliminate the buyer and the problem goes. Eliminate the RMT's and the problem goes.
If F900 was stop buying CNR's because they just might come from RMT is going to do......F*&^ All.
Would you close a kichen appliance store to eliminate Knife Crime? Would you close a garden centre to eliminate terrorism (Homemade bombs)?

I don't really have a problem with what F900's doing.
I have more of a problem with CCPs hypocrisy in obviously condoning it

All of the above questions will be answered by this time tomorrow (my time). For those who have e-mailed me (lots) wanting to invest, just follow this thread. Some of you wrote nice emails but for now just follow this thread, since most of you are asking when to send Isk.
Let me get your questions answered 1st, and then decide if this investment is for you. Because its not for everyone.

As promised here are the answers to your questions.
Just to recap a few points. I have been trading/selling CNRs for about 16months for the most part nearly non-stop. I will get 2 sets of contracts one on Monday and the other one on Friday so I have CNRs to sell over the weekend.
As I have stated before, its not uncommon to sell anywhere from 5-10 CNRs per 24hrs. At this point in time it does not take much effort.
As for the farming for the CNRs, sold to me and then my ISK they received used to sell for real money, I have been doing the same thing over and over and over again week after week with no problems, same supplier (char) never once told me to keep it hush hush, under the table or anything like that. No deleting of chars nor using NPC chars, buying CNRs has ALWAYS been via contracts, again week after week.
So IF CCP where going to come after me, remove my isk, ships and probably leave me negative a few hundred bill I think it would of happened along time ago. Again I cannot say 100% where these CNRs come from nor do I really care AS long as I am not breaking any rules or EULA violations.
I have spend alot of time selling these ships, I'm not here thinking I hope CCP don't catch me etc, hoping i'm flying under the radar so to speak. To me its a waste of my free time, If I felt everything I worked for in this game was going to be taken away.
Moving on ..
"why do you need any investment capital" ?
Truth is I don't. I can fund the whole project myself. But any smart trader knows you never never have all your eggs in one basket. For a few months I have been a key investor into MS and Titan production, my investment has doubled over the last few weeks since things have been going well.
There are 2 T2 ship BPOs that I want to buy. That will be sold to me, since there hard to come by. Also I like nice rare ships. There not cheap so I always try and keep ISK around just in case a ship I have interest in comes around for sale.
But as stated in my original post I don't mind helping people. Your willing to take a risk, then IMO your entitled to a nice return on your investment.
I'm not been ****y about it, but I don't need isk anymore. I am a one man corp, I don't represent any alliance or any corp other then myself.
CNR business for me has been a good run, rather then just buying and selling I would like to put a different spin on it, via having investors, I don't mind making people happy and of course making them isk, like i said this keeps Eve interesting for me its something I would like to try.
There is no set amount of isk I need to raise, since lets say I have 50 investors with a total of 50bil invested from them. Lets say another 50bil is needed, I will cover that amount. The more CNRs I buy, the better the discount gets.
Well again as stated before this is a new kinda direction for me, Confuzer show me the post/thread where I have offered this before.
B/c I have not and never will again.
Also thinking about it, one of the main reasons i'm doing this is after this investment is over I am sure the CNRs will keep on coming. I have mentioned it before a few times in the ship channel. I'd be willing to give my supplier over to either A, the group of investors who have an interest in selling them or 1-2 people from the group.
Selling ships is a great way of making isk, but it can get kinda boring. I like pvp, but lately I have been getting lazy with selling CNRs, I need something to motivate me if the truth been known.
I will answer the rest of the questions tomorrow.
Any errors typos, sorry in advance. Long day.

So why do you need investors who you would have to share the profits with?
OP might do this for the challenge and the diversity. After all Eve is about the potential to do many different things. Not everyone wants to just do the easiest or most profitable thing. And its also in line with his postulated "charitable nature". That he wants to share his fortune.
I'm not saying anything about the validity of the claims, just that the reasons for doing it might not be the usual: scam/shortcut.

I'm interested in this idea, tentatively at 500M, depending on what you work out to be the final terms. |

People have emailed me asking about what kinda of return can they expect on there investment. I'm still thinking about it but in the mean time I have sent a email to my suppler which I am waiting on a reply, regarding how many CNRs I can expect total.
The last agreement we had was for 500 CNR's which they delivered and I have since sold. But I know the next batch will be alot more total.
Personally I'd like to do another 1000, I don't see any reason why it would be not possible since I have done it before.

To buy a 1000 total is about 3-400B ISK. The potential profit I assume would be over 100B.
Props for being able to run such a large sale, but why do you really want to share all that profit with investors if you don't have to.
This proposal almost seems to good to be true. In most of those cases it usually isn't. I am not saying you are a scammer, but it doesn't seem natural that if you can finance an operation that requires 10's of Billions of ISK and you earn large profits why do you share it. I wouldn't.
Another point. You know exactly what profit range you make on all those CNR's so why haven't stated how much investors stand to make?
The whole thing doesn't feel right. Good luck to anyone who invests but I won't

You can get involved in trading in non market items by simply setting up wtb contracts.
I actually set up an ipo to do just that.
I closed the bonds down early because the contract interface is so grossly awful to use as anyone who has ever set up wtb contract would know.
However in the short space of time that I ran the ipo I was probably 'trading' to some degree with rmt isk farmers. Probably another reason why I closed it down early.
Let's be clear here. A contract for 1000 cnrs involves chinese/rumanian or whatever children runnnning lvl4 missions for hours on end and being paid paltry sums of money for the pleasure of so doing.
Please be clear what you are getting involved in here.

For this kinda of investment is a 6-10 month term, IF i decide to go ahead with it, before there Isk is sent I will talk to them to make sure they understand the risks and they understand my terms. I'm not the type of person to just take your isk and hope for the best. I have a good trading rep in the game I have built over 2years and want to keep it that way.
you are not answering my question. everyone and their dog knows about the risks in giving somebody money to work with. but this states not WHY your possible project is NOT for everyone. and could you please stop to use tens of empty lines at the end of each post? it hurts my mousewheel :D

By saying it's not for everyone, it doesn't mean he's excluding anyone. It means if you don't like the plan, then don't invest. Simple as that
