Most of us honour our ransoms. Ask any one of my customers, the deal I made was always upheld. There are pirate corporations where not honouring your ransom means the boot - but of course, you'll find free-lance idiots or corporations which just don't care. Generally if the pilot is a member of a well-established pirate corporation, you can safely pay a ransom.
Don't generalize us all because there are douchebags who are weekend pirates with a L4 mission farming alt for their income.

This is just a note to say that I personally will never honor a ransom or refund a scam. If I get my hands on your ISK, I'm spending it!

There is honor among pirates, but as in every facet of society there are those who delight in tasteless behavior.
It is not right to condemn a whole facet of society because of the few bad apples, that makes you as bad as them.

i speak for all of ninjas and pirates members when i say that we do honor all ransoms, any member caught not honoring a ransom will be poded kicked and any corp he goes to wardeced and/or suicide ganked

Pirates: Offer & Honor ransoms (especially when more profit is to be made doing so)
