Everyone whining about high sec, not a single post on how carriers, jump bridges and other jump mechanics made 0.0 drastically safer.
If there was one place that should be more dangerous its 0.0, but with simpler logisitcs and liberal log off and cloaking rules 0.0 is really carbear land.
remember when you had to pilot that new Hac/BS of yours out to 0.0, and your fragile hauler back to empire with your loot/minerals/moon? Or your corp had to organize logitistics for all members, not just a designated freighter/titan team that can bring everything for a month in a couple of hours with very little real risk.
That made 0.0 dangerous, now its really only dangerous if you choose it to be, or don't pay attention to local.
Stop whining about how safe hig sec is, and start whining to make 0.0 more dangerous again.

actually, densely populated areas should be made more dangerous, CCP has the idea of response time for law enforcement like it takes long for police to get to you in the middle of the country, yet quicker in a city, but tbh in my opion cities are more dangerous that the country side. more people more crime

Yes. If your organized a member of a 0.0 Alliance, you can use there logistics to get through safer. But the forums were filled a few weeks back during the 14 day free get reacquainted for former players. They talked about waking up in 0.0 and gathering all their stuff and heading to high security, only to be bubbled and loose everything they had required earlier.

Shhh stop giving away my secrets!
Cloaky nanorecons combined with logonski are still a hazard in 0.0. Now, after the nanonerf you may be righter than ever. Till then I'd say highsec is still safer, depending on what you're flying.

A man called S**** once said 'adapt.' So do so. Its what makes the challenges of EVE. I am saddened to hear that the dangers of 0.0 are less now. I for one would like more danger. Its makes a success evem more fantastic. And get this, I hate low sec! i cant bleeding stand the fact that a jump into a system could mean a short flight to death. But thats why you have maps and stats!!!!

I guess your post in the other thread that is word for word did not get the response you wanted?
And there has been a shit ton of threads about the topic you started. Although I do agree with you to a point. I am not sure how many alliances, corps and Faction Militias has been burn to the ground in the last couple of months in High Sec. Nor have I seen many sieges, cap fights, Gate camps from hell, HICTORS, etc.
So not sure dude. There are many other considerations to look at. For one the safety and security of the occupied space is determined by the alliance and the players them selves. Hence they make the rules and laws for their own space. Kind of cool actually. No Concord, NPC navies and handholding form CCP. So they take the responsibility to reduce the risk for their members. Whats wrong with that.
If they do not, it becomes a very, very nasty and unpleasant experience. You see it almost every day. Alliances getting wiped out.

Man goes to the doc, with a strawberry growing out of his head. Doc says "I'll give you some cream to put on it." |
