As far as farmer killing goes, try to maintain your situational awareness. As soon as someone sees you killing farmers, they will try to gank you. Also, if you kill enough farmers- you will get massive ganksquads coming to see why there have been so many kills.

LOL, yup. Had to go AFK for just 20 seconds. 
But I already got eight kills before you guys decided to hop in to "protect" them. 
You've got it all wrong. We were in no way protecting them. We saw a 'geddon and switched to "KILL KILL KILL" mode.
