Kaeten Hybrid Syndicate	Posted - 2008.09.05 12:05:00 - [1] I'm sorry but the new versions of firefox are just 9lagging my computer far to much, I can't even have 10 tabs open without it lagging. Anyone else having this problem? Cause if I don't fix this soon I will be changing to the old IE... ________________________ I'M POOR

SmokinFighter Gallente	Posted - 2008.09.05 12:14:00 - [3] Using older IE is just like saying to adware/trojins/virus "Hey my computer's pants are pulled down to its knee's and hes already bent over for you" Try a couple of things first before you give up on firefox, Frist back up your bookmarks, (Bookmarks>Organize>Export), Now Uninstall Firefox, Depending on what version of windows you are using you will need to delete a folder by hand. Vista it will look like this C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles) XP someone might need to refresh my memory. After you done all that, try and install firfox 3.0.1, and it should be better. i would highly recommend to never switch back to IE unless its needed for work and you only use it for work. Could always try Opera also. that's good one also.

And yeah, if you want speed, use Opera. Firefox has a feature built in to cache pages you were just at since most actions are either to another site or back. This feature can eat up alot of memory. I forget how to shut it off since I don't really use firefox that much. But do a search for it, that's probably the reason.
