Sorry to have such a late reply, but i was placed in at the hospital from 14 October to 27 October, so i didn't had time to play or browse the forum much then.
But now i have alot of time, and i will update the site soon to. And i will probably get a new host to the site to if i only can find a good host name for my site lol.
Any ideas on what i can call my host site for?.

Well if you haven't seen that, i got sent home from the military, so no more military for me. I was at the military base for 2 days and i got sent home because of some health problems.

Well yeah i have been thinking about that. But i mean i'm not good enough to take a job as a web designer yet though. I'm some kind of a person that want things to be amoast perfect before i'm happy.
So i have alot more to learn before i will think about getting a web designer.
Oh, in maybe one or two days, i will have my site registered on a new domain with a new host.

Update:
Since i have got me a new domain and host now, then i decided to go for this web address: http://www.alpha-strike.com (Not active yet), so because of that, i changed the name on my web page to Alpha Strike.
Here is the temporary link until the real address is fixed in 1 or 2 days: Alpha Strike
What do you think of the new name now?. It's at least something that have with EVE Online to do.

New update again:
1: I just changed the Contact page a little and added another picture there to, so the page looks better.
2: I changed out the song again to a better song on my page now. The song is called: Between Interval - Early Life Remainings. And it have more drums and that.
How do you like it now, good or bad?.

Yeah i know i can make alot of money by doing this. But in my eyes, i need some more years under the Adobe programs before i can think about taking any new steps.
And yeah, my site is all about design and to be very easy to navigate in.

Ok, here is the last update before my 3 week long vacation.
1: I had to take the web page back to the old address that is: http://privat.bluezone.no/tomhelge/.
Because for some strange reason i couldn't get the new domain / host to work .
2: Updated the setups to the Machariel and Megathron Navy Issue to the Quantum Rise status.
3: Updated the Latest EVE Online News.
4: Changed out the song on the page to a much much better song now, with some drums in. The new song is called Between Interval - The Dark Light. I also decided to take the quality on the song from 128 kbps up to 192 kbps.
That was the updates so far.
What do you think of the web page so far?.
More updates will come later when i'm back from vacation.

Maybe do your flash animation thingy with the fittings pages as well? right now it just links to a page with a jpeg of eve-fittings. It's a bit jarring. Or at least make it appear on the same page as your website.
Maybe have something that looks like the fitting screen in-game, and when you hover your mouse over the mod it'll have the mod description with clickable tabs just like in game?
Actually...reprogram eve-fittings into flash?
Heh...as you can probably tell I know nothing about programming. I have no idea what the limits are.

Yeah, i know the Setup page need to be updated alot. That's why i was telling earlier that i needed some ideas on how the layout on the Setup page can be.
I was asking for ideas on the Contact page to, but i fixed that page.
It would be cool to have it like your telling. But because the size on the Setup page, i will have to make a pop up window with the setup screen and that when you press on the Setup links.

I know absolutely jack ****e about web page design, but I can tell you that I like how it looks and works. Much props and keep up the good work. The military will open many doors for you when you get out. Be safe 0\
P.S. Do you have info on the music you were using. I typically do not like pure digital instrumental music but this stuff is off the chain.

I fail I though I had read most of this thread before at work, but the web page froze up the computer so I sort of forgot about it. I also had thought I had read that you did not have to go into the military. That is what I get for scanning. Well good stuff either way.

YARRR. Time for a bump.
I have done some small changes to my web page. And the changes are:
1: Changed out the song on my web page to a more good song. This song is now a more real and relaxed song with some drums.
The new song on my page is called: David Helpling & Jon Jenkins - Grand Collision. And i think this song is much better than any of the earlier songs i have had on my web page.
2: Changed the font and the size on the name Alpha Strike on the Contact page. And i also have changed something in my text around on my whole web page.
3: Removed one movie and added a new EVE movie to the Movies page. The new movie is called 'War Has Come'.
4: I have done some bug fixing. One of the bugs i found was that you could just press some places on the scroll thing on the Home page and then it just opened a new page to a topic on the EVE forum. So this is now fixed.
And also, since i love to work with computers and that, i have finally made the decission to send in an application to a computer company here in +lesund, where i live.
The computer company is searching after a shop collaborator where they want to to do some things ofc heh. But one of the things they want us to do is to have a maintenance of their webshop / webpage.
So if i get this job, i will be a happy bunny . But i wont get the answer if i get the job or not before 25 January.

The first few seconds i didnt know what this was, but just clicking one button did get me on the right track.
Good use of interactivity on the buttons and the pages aswell as colour scheme.
Very nice music, but im not sure if its my computer or what it is, but it was a bit too loud in my headphones.
Had the feeling of being in a music store than a eve online information page.
If you just lower the volume on the music alittle, it would blend it better with the site itself, than taking all
the attention away from the page itself.
But yes, a good solid and foremost original site for the eve community. Love it :D |
