I guess they love to see the VOD of the incident, too. You know this whole responsiblity stuff when you get your admission as attorney might proof to be a bit problematic and the new laws against cybermobbing in the U.S., oh dear boy.

I'm one of the ones who voted for Mittens because of the part he played in kicking CCP into line, and the the summer of rage. I thought, despite my better judgement, that he could keep it together to make the game better for us all.

But this is the worst sort of press for EVE. The message he send is not simply, "Play EVE, get griefed" - it's "Play EVE, risk cyber-bullying." There's no excuse for that, and no apology can limit the damage he's done.

But this was an out-of-game exchange, that has already generated a huge amount of negative publicity for our game. Our CSM Chair helps to put off new players. And I gonno about you, but new players = more CCP devs making more awesome in-game stuff.
