All I know is that Mittani has made many enemies in this game over the years and that they all smell blood right now and think they have a good chance to force him off his elected chair. These threadnoughts are not mainly about the badly chosen spur of the moment remark during Q&A at fanfest. This is about revenge. You smell blood. And you are going for the kill. |

Yeah, right, (a select part of ) the media is not only the prosecutor. They are also the judge and the jury.

Whilst I generally do not like these sites and rarely bother visiting any of them simply because they don't give a **** about the players or games, just simply which developer pays them the most to get a good review, companies like CCP, Like Sony pay a hell of a lot attention to them.
The word will spread and soon this will be known as the biggest meta-gaming battle for power in EVE ever. And then EVE will grow even bigger. |

Did you listen to David Ried at fanfest? Stories about the harsh nature of EVE is its biggest marketing asset. |

While his on the spur of the moment comment during Q&A was poorly chosen and indeed out of line, it is people like yourself that has been trying to put this game into disrepute by your actions and hyperbole. Wether you will succeed or not is written in the future. This game is famous for its meta-gaming and the game is not over yet. |

The only real steps to getting us all to move on (IMHO) would be:
1. Mittani to complete his Step 2 (Resign from CSM) heck, he'll be back in next year but, he said the words, and as a man I would expect him to keep to it.
2. CCP to issue some flavor of an "official" statement.
He might be back sooner than you think if he completes his resignation.
He is currently chair of CSM6. He could resign today and CSM can issue a statement. But on April 4th he will be offered the chair of CSM7 that he must accept because of the 10k votes.
See, problem solved. |
