I call for ALL footage of the event from every single person who attended and had a device capable of recording image or sound. I request that these images/sounds be carefully considered by a group of independent experts whose only task is to identify people. I further request that everyone who had anything not resembling a somber look of disappointment and disgust to be summarily banned from Eve Online and/or fired from their position at CCP. The only way to be well and truly sorry about this issue is to have everyone who was mirthful about this be brought to justice. No-one shall be safe from the long arm of the law. If there was a way to capture who was viewing the live stream and determine their mood during the "Slay Thyself Scandal" I would include my previous request to include data capture of that as well and to enact retribution and judgement on them as well.
Since my above idea isn't possible I guess we should all just bring up this issue as a straw man to try and get Mittens/Goons in trouble again? Ok, BURN THE WITCH!! |

Are we still going on about this? Are you people SO butthurt by goons/mittens that you care this much? Quit trying to white knight a dude who played the oldest online sympathy card there is and just say "We hate Goons and Mittens and we want them all gone". By this point you are doing NOTHING for the community except squealing and hoping that your agenda gets met. If you gave a care about the "cyberbully victim" then you would actually try and talk to him. Counsel him. Give him support. But instead all we get is shiptoasting ALL OVER THE FORUMS about how Mittens sucks, goons suck too, everyone but you and your BFFs should be banned.
Meta-gaming is one thing, but this is becoming obscene. Like I said, if you really care about the dude who "ZOMGZ HE MIGHT KILL HISSELF" then spend your time and energy on him. If CCP is gonna ban Mittens/Goons/Me/You/Whoever then they will do it, any and all chestbeating and whiteknighting and agenda pushing from the likes of us will not accomplish anything besides making us look even stupider to the world at large. So my earlier suggestion. Everyone on the panel, every CCP employee, everyone in the audience who laughed should have action taken against them as well. Can't single out 1 person like that. Everyone is equally culpable. I saw CCP employees laughing, I saw the panel laughing, I saw/heard audience members laughing. Why aren't we going after those hate mongers too? No 1 person is liable for this, all or nothing. Mittens said it, no-one stopped him. Many joined in his mocking laughter. We have to immediately ban half of EVE except the white knights now, otherwise I will not be satisfied!! |
