I think the main problem with all of this and the aftermath is actually more down to CCP "apparent" lack of anything resembling common sense. It really shouldn't have to have got to the point where the screaming hoards a.k.a childish tosspots were throwing their toys out of the pram and the others like sharks in the water smelt blood and jumped on the bandwagon

People say stupid stuff when their pissed period. You have a large amount of testosterone fuelled kids,younglings and teens/early twenties adults add to that a spattering of women and booze and then ask people from that group to publicy speak and what did you expect was going to happen? Don't get me wrong I don't particulary like Goons or what they stand for but if it wasnt for them I wouldn't have anyone to moan about and if it wasn;t for Raiden/ PL etc the Goons wouldn't have anyone to try and nerf so they can beat us
