Reality is, that entire panel was pretty boring. Even the in-game player "the wiz" didn't give a **** about it, and reading his "suicide threat" it was hardly serious.
He must be happy and heading out of depression by now, seeing all this attention and people carring about him, 10 bil richer and Space Famous now forever inserted into EVE story. |

"Block/Ignore" those two people and this thread is much more reasonable.
IMO, the amount of effort these two have put into this thread to tarnish the good name of our King, The Mittani should be considered harassment and I'm going to petition for both of their accounts to be banned.
This is an outrage.
Aye, this thread is as bully as the video, probably more. People are using this to push their own agendas of Mittani hatred.
Stop hatting.
You are all bullies and deserve being banned from the game. |

He obviously has to do this because CCP would boot him off if he didnt resign, its just saving face, i hope he didnt cut some deal to save his accounts, because he shouldnt even be allowed to play if he is going to harass other players publicly and try to lead others to do the same...

People need to learn the difference between griefing and cyber bullying. This was griefing not cyber bullying. You may think that, many others might think that, but every site which is reporting on the story are reporting it as Cyber Bullying and that is what matters.
Who really cares.... let the masses be scared away. EVE is a harsh place. |

People need to learn the difference between griefing and cyber bullying. This was griefing not cyber bullying. You may think that, many others might think that, but every site which is reporting on the story are reporting it as Cyber Bullying and that is what matters. Then they are reporting it wrong. So calling on people to blow up someones internet spaceships, in a game about blowing up internet spaceships is now "cyber bullying"? If that's the case then most acts of war in game are "cyber bullying", and letting these media outlets that are reporting that define what we can do in game really would for the first time be the "death of EVE". It's sad to see all the people who can't stand The Mittani because they think that "goons want to destroy the game" scream, cry, and push this to the press in order to get him removed, thus giving EVE and it's player base a bad name are the one doing the most damage to the game of EVE they claim they are trying to protect. Times are changing and being held accountable for things typed in game on twitter/facebook or in the public domain is definately where we are living now. Today in the UK a student got sentenced to 58 days in jail for tweeting racial slurs about the footballer who collapsed in the cup game. Mittani started by saying 'If you want to see the guy kill himself' if he hadn't of used that sentence then yes it would have just been in game griefing, instead of something else. In the UK it was public complaints about the students comments that got him arrested not a complaint from the footballer, not sure what the laws view is like in the USA but its probably lucky he isnt a UK resident.
But its not really harassment. No one will stop the guy on the street and call him out. No one will post in his real life facebook, twitter, whatever. No one will know about it, just the online persona. And really, who gives a **** about it in-game? I could care less about a miner and as far as I am concerned he can keep his mining and I wont even remember his name in 1 week.
To be truthfull, the people making the most damage are you guys stirring all this mess and publicity. |

Do they? What kind of crappy third world country do you live in, that's pathetic. Some shithole that's for sure. In here you won't find a way to get out of trouble if there was ANY alcohol involved.

Is he runing a country of someting? No.
He already appologised to the player and said player is 10bil richer, and at that point the guy was completely ignorant as to what was happening.
Nore than enough by my book.
IMO this thread is far more bullying than the declaration at the pannel.
To fart on someones face is bad. To keep reminding the fart victim of the smell is far worse. |

Humm i know countries where presidents had its toy licked at office and walked clean from it. First off he was not in trouble for "getting his toy licked" he was in trouble for lying to a grand jury. He was also impeached by the House of Representatives for it but there was not enough votes in his Senate trial to remove him from office. He also lost his law license and was barred from ever arguing in front of the Supreme Court. So there were consequences for his actions.
Yeah but did he resigned? Did he finished his term?
10 bil was given, appologies was given. Guy (drama queen) is fine. Move on. |

10 k people did vote for him so he should remain but has also lost the privilige of being chairman... Personally this is a good compromise. so its like, someone commits a crime, the criminal gets to walk because 10000 who likes his "wayward behavior" says he has not done wrong ... (wrong to the tune of suggesting a depressed whining player actually go have his suicide) LOL ! ... what about the rest of the population who was not in the 10000 ? i am very sure they are not NPC related i am also quite curious ... of those 10k who did voted ... how many are in disgust of his presentation about "the wis". i am very sure not all 10k+ people are standing together with him on that incident
Be carefull of wat you wish, that 10k might turn 20k as well. |
