Hiya folks!
For the first time ever, I got a message saying something like "You do not have enough skill to take your ship into space in its current condition". Then docking is aborted. Okay, fine.
So the question is, which skills do I need (assuming the message actually refers to a skill that is lacking) ???
Unless I'm nutz, up to this point (read: before the patch) I have been able to dock, fit reppers, undock, and repair my ship, even though it was a salubrious sneeze away from total destruction. I am not going to pay for ridiculous repair bills when I could be using AR and Hull reppers, IF IF IF it's only a new skill or something. If the new system forces us to actually spend ISK for repairs, I've got a lot to think about.....

As far as I know, it's been this way for a while. If you ever dock in a ship that would be reduced to negative structure if you leave it (ie, the only reason you're still alive is your Mechanic skill bonus to structure HP), it won't let you undock until you repair.

Fit bulkheads and armorplates it should let u out.
Ps put one hull reper and one armor reper on. Dont dock till ur hull is fully recovered and atleast 20% of armor

If this happens in a station with no repair facilities, how do you get the ship launched ?

If it happens in a facility with no repair facility you
A) fit plates and bulkheads (and one Rep for Hull and a Rep for Armor
If these things are not available for purchase on the market in that station, you get out of the ship, fly to a different station and bring them back.
