Thanks for the vote of confidence, we do see our corp as a core member of the Federation. As the peace loving citizens are pushed to further more are joining specialist corps like Dearg Doom and now we have a new war to fight,

We will not be scared to engage, nor will be charing straight in. This is a war we look forward to, just remember SOF, if your in their gang you won't be primary (we just can't kill drakes!)

I Find it interesting that a genetically enhanced super solderer from and abandoned project would be hiring mercenary's. I find it even more interesting as to the targets they've chosen.
Though honestly this all court me by surprise, and in my line of work thats not something that should be happening, however I've actually found this rather refreshing, but then the chasing down of questions and answers can do that to you.
I know some may ask where a set of lab experiments got hold of the isk to finance the hiring of mercenary's, and to be honest that did cross my mind, however after digging a bit I don't really see this as a factor. Though the truth is probably that you have access to the funds originally meant for the development project which lead to you unknown creation.
What I am interested in asking though, would be why Clones such as your self, who have been specifically genetically engineered and enhanced to be the perfect solders, far better than those of us of more simple origins, have need to hire mercenary's to dispatch there foes.
Some might say that in this very act of hiring outside muscle you are admitting that the project that gave you births and the protocols you live by have been a failure. And while you have been born into the semi immortal heights of the capsular community you now find yourselves no different from the rest of us.
Now I do not relish the coming battles, for in truth I know they will be hard and costly, however I will fly side by side with my brothers and be proud, proud that I am fighting for the federation I love and for our friends and allies the Minmitar. And once this challenge is over, maybe we'll see about cleaning up the remnants of an abandoned project, that really should never of got this far.

It may be that the very fact they can so easily afford and have the connections to hire such merc corps is just part of their enhancement. I really don't see where all the fuss is coming from. Are their set rules of war? I don't remember ever reading in the pilots training manuals "you can do battle with your enemy, but do it nicely". By complaining about that sofcode guy's hiring mercs, you might as well be saying: "only blue guns that shoot purple laser beams can be used" or "only those Gallente with green eyes can join the militia". It's war ladies and gentlemen, there is no coddling, no strict guidelines, no conditions in battle. You see your enemy, you shoot. Hiring mercs is just like buying weapons. Would you be complaining if he posted about buying ships, weapons or drones?

We at the Central Research Nexus thank you for both your addition of additional scenarios in which to perform our research and the statement, both implicit and later explicit, that you see our small group of capsuleers as such a threat to your interests that you would hire mercenaries against us. It is an odd sort of honor, but one we gladly accept.
... and although Ulasim, a valuable friend, does not place much stock in polite conversation here, he does bring up valid points - we live in Tama as any cursory glance at a killboard will tell you (although we are not exclusively there), we would live in the Tama area war or no war, we effectively use a decentralized fleet structure, and for the most part we all have few ties with the Federation - we do not even operate with the militia fleets much anymore preferring our own comradeship, as we have found ourselves far more effective on our own. Heck, I can count one one hand the people in my corporation who could join the Federate Defence Union without my influence. We have no shared political groupthink.
We are in it for the fight - leave the ideology to the politicians. We get what we want from fighting for the Gallente - a large enemy to fight - and the Federation gets our apparently infamous fighting ability. It sounds like a win-win situation to me. Your own hiring of mercenaries gives us even more of what we desire. Our methods may make us little better than pirates, but it is what we do and apparently what we do well, and we enjoy it immensely. To those who I have flown alongside, I still have my respect and ties to you - but I changed when I dropped off the spacelanes for a month. I was once a staunch patriot like many of you - nowadays, not so much. This relationship with the Gallente, outside a political view, gives us benefit. Does that mean we will leave when it suits us? Yes - but especially with Trinity Nova coming against us for what we do, it seems to be a good thing to stay.

You might be right, or you might be wrong.
If you are right, we might find out when her incubation time ends and see what a new sort of human she might become. I'm sure that she will be surprised to know that she didn't suceed on ending H.E.T the way she wanted.
The State found us first.
And If you are wrong, and she does approve my ways and surrender to serve the State, than, you will have two necessary evils to deal with.
Either way, things won't look better in your standpoint.

We are already at war. You are most welcome to try matching forces, actually, should be your duty as one of the federation capsuleer representants. But you are so pathetic that even that you cannot accomplish, to serve your Federation well in any expressive ways.
