You don't stand a chance with AB.
breaking news, if you take a ship against another ship that is specially designed to kill you, you will lose
useless arguement. every ship should therefore never undock because there is a counter for it out there somewhere.
I really can't imagine any Caracal setup that will fail at killing AB Malediction... Can you think of one?

Drop the ecm. You aren't going to get a jam with it often enough for it to matter. If you are going to go for dogfighting in web range, take a look at using t2 autocannons instead, they produce about the same amount of damage as rockets (or more if you are skilled more heavily in gunnery). If you are going to stick with rockets FIT A FREAKING WEB. Any target that you can actually kill with rockets has a pretty good chance of being fast enough to evade most rocket damage unless it is webbed.
Combat is not really the maledictions strong suit; putting a point on a target and not getting killed is. With reasonable skills you can point a target at 28.8 km, outside of web and heavy nos range. Under most circumstances, this is enough to keep you alive. For this role I generally fit a sensor booster rather than a web, a mwd is mandatory, and buying a gistii b type is a better use of isk than polycarbs.
This is undiplomatic and a bit rude to say, but given your posting history it is pretty obvious that you have very little experience as a combat pilot. You should consider spending some time flying rifters (or punishers) to get some combat experience under your belt, especially if you want to fly 'ceptors in web range. For someone that is inexperienced, the extra margin for error that an interceptor affords you over a rifter isn't large enough to overcome; one mistake and your inty is gonna pop fast. 50 mil doesn't seem like much to spend on a fully fit ship, until you loose it in less than three seconds of actual combat. You can loose 5-6 rifters with t2 guns for the price of one polycarb.
If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go fit my forum-mobile with a few thermal hardeners. ___________________ Eventually, we all get outgunned or outnumbered. |

Soloing lv4's are just becoming easy, thus ISK to blow however I please without much concern.
Got to learn somewhere, but as far as my posting history goes, I have noticed that everyone has a different opinion about ships and fittings. One person praises fitting/ship/tactic (though not mine obviously but it was a first shot attempt) and the other one slams it...
Simply...every ship on the board cannot suck, and very few on these forums seem to agree on much. So if something works for someone (unless they are strait up full of crap) there must be a reason why it works for them....and so I am inclined to at least listen and take their idea's into account.
I have seen things work that should not have worked (ship-wise and fitting-wise) and yes it was in PVP. This is what compels me and makes Eve worth playing IMO.
