Hey folks!
Am "happy" to tell you that I am getting the <Connection to server lost> every 5 min or so! Even, sometimes, I can get it after only 15 seconds that I'm in the game!
But, it seems it does not happen so often 2 hours before and 3 hours after the server is reseted.
"WEIRD!" you will say! And I'll say it too.
"No way this guy says the truth!" I'll hear you say. Here it is:

I am using a Linksys Wireless-G (although am hard plugged in it) WRT54G.
If someone knows what my problem is, I need your help!
P.S.: I just bought the game 4 days (that was september 3, 2008) ago so I don't know if it happenned before, obviously...

Well, at least its not just me suffering with this. I've scouted around the inter-web and still can't figure out why its happening. It would be good if Eve could figure this out soon cause if they can't I'm not going to be playing much longer.

Exactly what I am considering.
We need help on this. I've searched present and past forums and it seems like a very bad recurring problem. It seems to pop up every patch or so.

What service provider do you guys use?
I've been told that certain providers that use Limelight for their ISP won't connect to EVE Online due to some issues with Limelight or whatnot...

I have also had this as well. For me however, it has happened long before the new path. the op is right saying that it happens when you are idle for some very short amount of time. Normally this issue seems to be more prominent at times when many are logged on at once. I have sent in numerous petitions about it and have gotten this reply.
"In order to thoroughly test your connection to the EVE server, we recommend that you download a program called pingplotter which is available here http://www.pingplotter.com. If you are running a hardware firewall (SPI Firewall) on your router you will need to disable it, as otherwise this program won't work.
Run ping plotter and set it to trace to 87.237.38.200, this being the EVE server, then set it to run at 1 minute intervals for 60 runs and statistics to include these 60 intervals. After that then try to login to the EVE server with the program running in the background. If your connection drops while running the pingplotter program then check if you get any packet loss or unusually high ping times at any node along the way. Save the results as a pp2 file or take a screenshot, compress the file/s with Winzip and send it to us.

GM Icini EVE Online Customer Support"
I have never sent in my logs until recently. In the past I have noticed that even using pingplotter while you play will fix the problem, but isn't the case at this point. I recommended all of you to do the same. I sent in my results in a petition and and waiting for a reply, since its the weekend I don't expect a response for a day or two.
For me i seem to lose packets at the second to last destination which is: ccp-ic-124901-ldn-thon-s2.c.telia.net IP address: 213.248.90.90
Good luck
