Still get disconnects after patching, no good.

I've also been getting disconnected since last Tuesday's patch.
On some of them I get an error message pop up stating that there's an error with Eve.exe
Make the universe a better friendlier place, NUKE JITA.... Someone PLEASE?

im new here and to the game, just want to say its great and ive heard alot of people saying about disconnecting, i stay logged on have never been d/ced, is it a regional thing through your isp's or does eve have issues and d/c people?

Hello folks!
I am based in North America and I am having frequent disconnections in "peak time" hours. I usually have VERY FEW disconnections after a server reset.
I've looked at the EVE Forums and it seems like the only thing to do is to start having a VPN connect to the EVE servers.
Any ideas here? Anyone knows how to do it? Could CCP change their <connection type> so it works like a VPN?
Anyways, I'd like to play EVE for more than 4min intervals...

to the OP - Patching will have no affect on disconnects - they are packets getting lost on the way ... rung up ping plotter and post the results

Yeah I've had a couple too since the patch. First ones I've had in over a year. Not statistically significant really but a little intriguing.

The exact application doesn't matter. Any application that will send repeated pings over time and display the results will suffice. You could create a batch file and use the Windows Ping command if you wanted.
