The reason I you dont see me fight is because I dont fight with you or any other CFS, period. I stopped doing that when the brave and charismatic "fleet admiral" Raindrop dropped the bomb on what was quite possibly the most ambitious and organized movement in "CFS Space", at the time of station deployment. 50 ships of 120-150 total participants waiting on FA to jump in ready to fight, win or lose and the second they jump in you hear him screaming "get to a safespot!!", causing it all to crash like a house of cards. Lame tbh.
Yeah, I remember that. I was on the CFS at that time and I remember us trying to organise people across the then CFS space to protect the stations in querious and move over to delve. The raindrop skippered fleet in NOL-M9 was sitting there and i had a look at the map. Biiiiiiig blob heading our way from the then FIV refinery - thought i'd go take a look afew systems down.
When, 2 jumps from NOL, my local jumped with 25 Xanadu in system and the number kept rising, I checked gang chat (didn't have comms at that point) and I said there was a Xan fleet coming. Was the funniest thing when Raindrop assumed it was a 6-10 or so ships (because of what the FA negotiators had told him i assume) and I pointed out it was in excess of 30+.
Xan hung at the the entry to NOL and then jumped in and warped to the Cloning Station and voila, safespot for the larger CFS fleet. Tbh, if theyd taken on Xan or if Xan had taken on them they would have lost, but they would have tried.
It was a couple hours after that that RNI jumped ship and then joined m0o en masse.... hmmmm seems like most of the active CFS guardians of the "old" days have upped and joined m0o (Madcap etc). Some of the few that haven't ar independant non-CFS affiliated corps (Serge) or in Stain and CA.

CFS is a pale shadow of what they were IMO, but good luck to both sides and have a good fight.

Have a good fight? DSMA has NOT given up on a peaceful solution for all concerned, including the independant corps of Period-Basis whom may find themselves in the middle of battles. ----------------------------------

CFS is in fact stronger as they have ever been.,. especially numbers of people willing to fight for the cause. they actually are defending the regions, though a big part ain't full out Pvp specialists i can tell u that the battles with CA forces aswell the even more tricky m0o forces did pay off in the sense of experieced gained.
And for the situation at the Nol station it would have been quite stupid to go and fight at two sides. (that is CA and m0o in querious and FA in delve/period). And besides that FA was and prolly is still a non agresive allience. Just checking my sexy tools...

Hmm, I agree CFS is not the CFS it was five months ago.. its worse.
Not only do you lack any sort of organization, credibility and guts as an alliance, but now you have 10% of the numbers to work with, and twice as many people willing to invade ya.
All this political shiat needs to end really, you're talkin about crap nobody cares about when you could be out there smacking your people up a bit. _____________________________________ Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning. "Can I be a consultant for EVE II?" - WhiteDwarf |

Having numbers is one thing, having people who have the will to consistantly fight and do what their told is another. I do not doubt that there are quite afew of those people in the CFS and assorted independants. Yes, you'll gain experience and become better gradually . . but here's the kicker. you have to have the backing and gumption to keep those people on yourside and not have them decide to go and join another alliance because they feel nothing is being done. When we were in the CFS, they were haemoraging players and corps because of the feeling of a hopeless fight. I hope this isn't the case now.
Well, at the time of the NOL standoff on the first day of the stations appearing, M0o weren't in the fix, it was FA forces in delve and independants trying to snatch stations in querious. The independants were covered with 40-50 ships (led by my CEO for the most part), the south was completely covered by Zoners and the DMSA group and thus, that left the FA fores in Delve against the CFS fleet which was numerically superior.
*shrugs*
I don't want to bring up the whole CFS/EF/FA who took what station debate again, but FA (mainly Xan) are agressive if and when they want to be.

You need to learn how to read AvanCade. I was talking about your actions, not the blabbering that goes on behind the scenes. You'll always be judged by your actions, and the reasons you have behind them are irrelevant. Ofcourse preferably Digital would loose his BS to a force 3 times as big that was jumping in to get us. He just forgets to mention that part. LOL Typical.. Very typical. Raindrop

It is not only "information" that we are acting. It wasa provocation of Katya Detia herself on two occasions before hand. What one leader of an alliance does it reflects onto the allaince and is being treated that way. We are trying to prevent chaos and as such we are peacefully requesting DSMA leave before the deadline.
DSMA are allowed to enter Paragon Soul but must leave Querious, Period Basis, and Delve. In this time I am willing to talk with DSMA officals but this deadline will stand as of now. We will currently only escort you out but will respond to force.
Btw, our space isn't closed to non DSMA members and this is not an attack on FA nor the stations. We are upholding our end of the FA/CFS treaty and trying to keep space free. That means people shouldn't be ingame trying to disrupt operations of anyone in our space (i.e. something katya detia did twice and did it purposefully).

It's stronger actually..... Number of corps doesn't mean anything if those corps aren't participating in the alliance. There are some pvp corps in the CFS now, and also the non-pvp corps are trying their hand at killing things :)
And THAT is a lot better than 5 months ago.

That's true. The way one person acts does reflect on their alliance. But a wise leader will not let that be the only factor in their decision. Those issues were reconciled weeks ago. It seems they're being dug up again now and I'm not sure why.
DSMA would like to get on with CFS and peacefully inhabit the same regions of space. None of us want to take anything from CFS. We just want to mine in peace and help defend the region from pirates.

It is now after the deadline given by CFS I have not found any result of the second meeting the CFS had on the matter where they reopened this case for a second round of debate. I can only assume that it means nothing have changed.
Even so. I will urge both parties to hold their fire. Do not fire on eachother, do not fire on people who should be your friends. Do not let the aggressors of this decision hide behind the loyalty of their brave soldiers
I am saddened that CFS do not trust us. That even with us proffessing our innocence of these charges has gone unheard. I belong to Zitek, and our Creed is that of Honesty and Integrity. It is the way we do business and the way we organise ourselves and it is the way we meet fellow men in the world of EVE. Zitek is a founding member of DSMA, and we would not consort with people who would disgrace our high ideals with their actions. Once, we were even a member of CFS itself. We have friends there, we have fought together , or we have loudly praised it's navy who have kept aggressors off our back as we have mined it's regions.
What single and rare causes for concern there has been in the many months of business in PB seems to have been the center of focus , while the many reasons for friendship and cooperation has been forgotten.
We cannot and will not leave, but you will have no trouble. We do not ,and never did, want this fight
I will after having written this tune in to the news of the world , I hope that still there is peace in PB

At the end of the day it is still CFS space, not yours. So do what they ask unless they decide otherwise

MAX, we own friendships with CFS pilots. I have personally saved CFS miners from NPC BS spawns, when i could have watched and laughed, I have freely run cover for CFS mining ops as have many of my members.
We jointly fought against CA/C4 to make PB a better place (I lost 2 BS's in combat, and 1 whilst part of a CFS fleet), and now we are being stabbed in the back by the bigwigs of CFS, who aparently dont give 2 sh!ts, dont even care enough to just let us be! ----------------------------------
