It's currently 19:44 eve time and I cannot connect to TQ. I have full access to internet and am accessing the eve forums right now via my eve computer. Evemon also says TQ is offline. I'm confused because I see no announcements and no whining on the forums about it.
Is it just my computer?

Is this my problem? Any solutions?

I haven't been able to get on either but everything else works fine. Other online games have perfect connections.

I am going to speak with the main IT guy today at school instead of one of his henchmen. Does the log I posted above show whether or not the school is actually blocking eve? Or is the test inconclusive?
Also, is the IP address shown in the log I posted the main TQ address? If not, please let me know what it is so I can have him verify whether or not the school is restricting access.
Thanks

This tells you how to change the port, if someone blocked 26000 at your school. Unforunately, I don't seem to have the files that are required for it, so no luck here.

Just traced 87.237.38.200 using ping plotter and it says address unreachable & 100% Packet Loss.
I didn't get a chance to meet with the IT admin today however does the fact that the address is unreachable mean they are blocking that address?
I tried accessing even through that alternate port but it didn't change anything. TQ is still showing as UNKNOWN.

the suggestion from a corpmate of mine was that 26000 might be blocked because it would be considered a bittorrent port. The other port (3724) is WOWs port, so it would definitely not be blocked

Well 3724 is definitely also blocked here.
I'm now considering www.your-freedom.net but know nothing about it as of yet. I've downloaded their instruction guide for reading when I get the chance.
Since I'm using my laptop for both home and school, using something from your-freedom.net won't effect my home connection to eve right?
