Yes. Theres one pilot I know quite well who in their first month in eve has taken to salvaging peoples missions for them for a cut of the modules/salvage as their main income. And mainly does that when possible. Give me a mail in game and i can pass their name on if you like.

Dude, your sig. It breaks the forums. I'd fix it before it is fixed for you. (Used to be considered a warning if they fix it for you.)

I occasionally offer bookmarks to the more lucrative salvage spots whenever I'm grinding L3 missions with a new corp I want to be friends with and can't be bothered to loot/salvage. So far, only one person has accepted. You can blame the highsec griefers for this overall wariness. --------------- Hey, where's my portrait |

Of course, you'd be paying them a percentage - but how much? And, if you got a corp newbie to do it, how much payment would it take to differentiate their position between valuable team member and tea boy
i find your comment offensive as a honest working tea boy. Shame on you for your discriminating capitalistic ways .

I made a channel called salvage forum to coordinate salvaging between mission runners that don't salvage and career salvagers. Most of what is being discussed in this thread could be figured out in there. The channel hasent taken off however, please help me make it a success.

i am sure that if put advert cans outside mission hub stations, you will likely get at least a few looky-loos in the channel ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |

you're not going to know what they salvage, and therefor they could say they got crap nothing and keep all the isk themselves. because people suck irl.

if i am soloing a lvl 4 mission i will open up the dreaded "local" chat and offer my salvage for a flat rate. usually i will offer all the salvage in AE for 5 mil isk. that is a profit of about 15 mil for the salvager. other missions the price will vary depending on how many rooms, waves and of course number of npcs.
