ship insurence changes that i would like to see the insurence that is in game has a time limit this is where it makes me angry to insure my tempest it will cost 30 mill and i get what 3 months coverage like dam 30 mill for 3 months thats a lot like that not a bad covarage time but longer is better
can't u make it like 40 mill for insurence till ship dies and that goses off at repakage is a bad idea lol i repakaged the wrong ship and lost the insurence
implants insurence
same as ship insurence except u can insure your implants this insurence would be 1 time payment for each implant and lasts till u get podded
BETTER YET
just make it so we can take the implants off and put them on at will cause hunting with 60 mill implants in your head is to much to lose make it so we can take them out and out them back in or sell them or what ever we bought them we should be able to do what we want with them with out having them break apon taking them out

Seeing as implants are only available free as mission rewards, and sold between players, via trade, escrow or market at an arbitrary price, how would you price insurance premium and payout? If you go by mineral value, it wouldn't be very high, and any other price would be like declaring a maximum value. Something like that just can't be done, for an item which can't be made and has no standard price. Knowing that a pod kill means loss of implants, taking them into a fight you don't know you can win for certain is a choice the player makes.

I'd like implant insurance as well but as pointed out there is no standard price, in fact implants are going up in price all the time, I was told they used to cost 5 million well at 25 million for all 5 you would'nt care about insurance much but now it costs nearly 100 million I don't think ccp ever intended for the prices to be that high.

implants never have a set price therefore have no set insurance price. plus if they were insured then there would be no penalty for dying (considering you have a clone).
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

If you do not lose ships, you do not need insurance. Limited insurance means higher risk, and a choice for the player to make - more freedom and options.
Implants currently add much risk to the possibility of being podkilled. Also this decreases skill learning rate.
