Hey guys,
I know there are drones that can drop AI and T2 salvage in deadspace plexes - drone queens, etc.
I am pretty sure these types of drones do not spawn in belts in 0.0 no matter how much you boost the system by killing them - there's no equivalent of faction or officer belt spawns for drones.
Question is, can those spawn in anomalies?

There are faction spawns for drones, that spawn in belts. They are called "sentient ___________ ."

yes, I have seen drone overseers in anomalies in low sec. They drone anomalies used to be pretty common, but I haven't seen one recently. Maybe because no one does anomalies anymore and if you try to scan for them all you find = fx plexes.
No idea what you will find in 0.0.

Used to live on drone 0.0. We would get the sentients sometimes in anomalies. Never saw one while ratting the normal belts tho.

You can find a lot of sentient drones in exploration sites, and yes... with lots of t2 component loot and salvage.
Even the high sec exploration sites will get you these drones.
Don't confuse the exploration sites with the little deadspaces that you can find with the on-board scanner.
The little deadspaces are found with the scanner set to "cosmic anomaly" and the escalating ones are found with the scanner set to "cosmic signature" (and using probes).
both show up as "unknown" but if you scanned for "cosmic signature" only you know for sure you found an exploration site.
The sites I just did escalated all the way to the end (five escalations) and each escalation had an increasingly difficult sentient drone with increasingly valuable t2 salvage.
edit: Oh... and exploration sites are the ones that will always start with a warp gate (usually with a limiter for certain ship sizes depending on the level of the plex).

I've found quite a few of anomalies with drones in it and a faction spawn in the end. Often they never yielded any T2 salvage though.

i have done some cosmic anomilies in high sec recently found with my on board scanner. did 3 rouge drones ones and 2 out of 3 of them had a sentinent drone at the end which dropped t2 salvage. maybe i was just lucky. but they are there.

I've had a few faction drones/drone queens in 0.0 in unknown sites, they usually drop drone parts that i'm not entirely sure what theyre for.. maybe for constructing fighters or cap parts etc... but they also drop about 20-60mil in intact slavage if you're lucky.

Theres 3 different types from what I can tell.
Sentient ______, which are basically faction spawns. Drop drone parts and a few mil in T2 salvage.
Parasites (forgot the full name) which drop the drone AIs. Which aren't really useful in 0.0. Find these as overseers in some plexes.
Hive Mothers, which drop the multi-billion T2 salvage loot. Found in the last stage of independance/radiance.
