Let me preface the following by saying that, even in "real life" at the Fan Fest I consider all attendees to be "in character". We love EVE, we are EVE that is why people go.
With that said, no apology is good enough in game or out for what you said. You stepped far over the line.
You need to do the right thing and resign your CMS7 position immediately. Your opinions are obviously not representative of the player base. I have a feeling that resigning the position will save face for you, because with the publicity this is getting CCP might find that doing it themselves is the best option. |

Why should Mittani resign over something as trivial as this ? "victim" seems fine, and rich because of of Mittani's mistake. Public apology, reparations... It is a matter of public representation. He was elected to represent ALL of us. He failed immediately and miserably. Stepping down would be just the right thing.
EVE has hundreds of thousands of subscribers, tens of thousands of them are total assholes. I know, you and me are two of them ;) |
