Lag was not too bad for almost 500 people in a fight (traveling to the target system was actually far worse). In fact I'd say it was one of the servers better performances.
1/2-1 minute module lag, but scenes loaded fairly fast.

Yup. Morale is almost gone. We can barely sc**** together a 20 man frig fleet

Yup. They're all gone. These AF's were the last ships in our storage. We'll have to come in noob frigates from now on
Now a question for you: Why does all the NC comments in this thread sound so gloomy and negative. I mean, you won...... didn't you?
Congratulate each other on your dazzling victory. Slap each others back for killing a mighty GBC fleet with lower numbers. Compare K/D ratios and laugh at the silly GBC... You've earned it

Only a 0.0 alliance drone would find 1 min module lag a thing to be pleased about
When you expect 5 minutes module lag and 10 minutes load time, you are generally pleased when its much less.
Bitter little people complain over everything not to their liking, ESPECIALLY if they can feel good about it by blaming someone else. It gives them such a nice happy feeling inside.
The more mature of us shrugs, and gets on with the job anyway....
Lag is a difficult technical and game mechanics problem that (IMHO) is not likely to be solved, or to be solvable at all. It is therefore pointless to complain about it and far more productive just to take it into account in your battle plans.
Would I prefer a lag-free EVE? Of cause.
Do I think it'll happen? No.
Do I think we'll see gradual improvements over time? Yes, but people will counter them by bringing even more ships.
