So i was chillin this morning, thinking of my carebear days in FA. Its getting close to the 5 year turning point of FA/m0o war. So where is everyone now? And have u takin breaks? I rem fighting m0o /FE on a daily basis for a few months. Seemed longer than that.
The war didnt happen for another month or 2, but im bored. Since then ive joined m0o, stuck with most of them going from corp to corp. Taken a few breaks, longest was 9 months. Back then eve was fun, so much more fun than now. We had blob warfare of 30 on 30 then.
Well thats it, me being stupid saying WASSUP HOMMIES to my dead FA brothers.

most who are still playing went to either morsus mihi, hirr and assorted corps , and those who got smart before the fall of fa and Xanadu went to BOB :P

And FA sucked. They're the whole reason I snapped and started shooting everything in sight. (Angry memories of Xanadu and BIG being stupid during the m0o thing.) Oh, thanks for making me think if m0o again... Now I'm suffering from another bout of nostalgia and feeling the void within myself that was once filled by the glorious "old days".

SA - CA conflict was a lot more intense though...
i remember sitting in my scorp and doing cycle jams against SA fleets, mostly in osht. good old days, good old fun...

I can't claim any particular old school cred. Four years ago I was mining in an armageddon in lowsec, or getting annhilated in TPAR with DEEP SPACE MINING ALLIANCE (hell yeah).. :s
However, this kind of 3v5, 5v5, 5v10, +++, 30vs30 warfare is pretty common from my perspective. Certainly its been the kind of fights we get regularly from providence types and around catch, and thats one of the reasons we keep going there I guess. Great fun! Sometimes we win, sometimes we limp home in pods smacking each other, way it goes.
With that in mind, I would never want to see a limit on 0.0 pvp - the unknown is the fun part, and the battle to try and keep one step ahead of the surprise. Everything else is just bitter vet fluff.
Sorry for slight derail, felt that it was worth saying.

I mostly remember the fights and skirmishes we had with Pug and his merry band (Red Brigades/LMM/RUBRA) - they certainly made that FA era a lot more fun whenever they visited.

If you trace CEO's, Directors, prominent players and corps
you will find that even today there are often Conflicts between the same body's that fought each other all those many years ago.
