masternerdguy	Posted - 2008.09.14 07:25:00 - [1] Well, its been a long fight. At the beggining of fw the caldari got pwned many times and we wouldnt engage without like a 3:1 ratio. Now ironically the very people who laughed at us for this now find the roles reversed. From steel's never ending blockade of villore to the many skirmish fleets across the skies of eve we have effectively made the gallente scared of us.

(Well it's pretty much over now.) You know the time you should be out grinding missions in the real world. Don't worry though, the Gallente will be back to handing you your teeth in a bucket nightly. Oh by the way brilliant move who ever was in charge, jumping their blob out to the corp POS a few weeks ago. We are still chuckling about that one. Too bad we didn't have the guns manned, we might have killed more than eight of you then.

They've been getting their butts handed to them in the heavy fights, so they've adapted and they're running a lot of hacs and intys at us now, with the obligatory neutral spies to tell them when to flee a gate. We're still giving them too many easy kills due to stupidity, tbh. So, they've adapted and they'll scamper around our big, slow moving, everyone align ...wait...wait...wait... jump fleets that take an hour or more to pull together. We'll have to adapt too, or we're going to spend a lot of time plodding through black rise with them scattering in front of us, and both sides getting good and bored. It's all a learning process for both sides, adapt, counter, and adapt again. It's what makes it fun.

One day, which I think sums up the situation quite well, had the gallente militia jump three outnumbered fleets into a blob we had little chance of beating, and lose badly all three times, simply because we knew we wouldn't get the numbers needed to level the playing field, but we were so desperate for a fight we went for it anyway. The Caldari are lucky in that regard. They run if they can't win, but they could park a fleet of Titans outside Villore and the Gallente militia would still go down fighting. - DesuSigs
