For my part I see a better performance client side....LESS LAG. I was also mucking about with one of my corp mates, he was in a megathron and I was in me Raven.
Let me back up a little. I did my usual cursing of the devs and screamed that they need to lay off the drop rag and jar. BUT I did play around and found that all was not as bad as it seemed.
Now as I played with my Raven set up I started to see the ship actually could be used in situations where it couldn't before. What I mean by that is this, I used to catch hell for NPCing in this ship, but now I think from playing with set ups that its more balanced and better suited than it used to be.
How ever I would like to see either 1. more gun turrets or 2. 1 more missile slot.
I also think that the power requirements for siege launchers should in my opinion come down a bit. I would like to be able to fit damage mods if I am going to mount guns and not have to fill my lows with power grid mods. That would make sense since it seems as though ccp devs want more use out of other mods and not have us use all cap power relays or all damage mods or all cpu's or all power diags and such.
Over all the balancing is coming out nicely. It seems though that the biggest winner in this patch would be the Megathron. that thing is going to be twice as deadly as it was before.
Over all I give this patch despite the usual problems and bug fix's a thumbs up. or on a scale of 1 to 10... 1 being the lowest I give it about an 8.

I'm interested in hearing your slant on why you think the Megathron will be twice as good as it was before.

I don't have the ability to fly that ship mind you. So as I was saying I was trying out different load outs and so was my corp mate and he was hitting fast and hard. And tanked out with shield hardners and such he was doing a fare job of striping away at my shields. I was more impressed with the what he was telling me and what he was doing with it. thats all.

Hmm, i dont see a shield tanked megathron being anything remotely uber yet.

hmmm I didn't say that the Megathron was a tanked. I said the he was HITTING hard. And I have confirmed this with other Megathron pilots. talk to your friends
