1. no 2. maaaybe (it's a perception and morale thing) 3. yes we are 4. most of the forum warring/whoring is being done by the new BoB pets (still remember the same coming from Fix and others during the last big conflict... hehe look what happened to that lil lot) and of course TriTards
and finally... the same happened to BoB, they got spanked all the way back to 1 system and look what happened.

Originally by: bitters much I wonder when the new NC spindoctor CHIKA QRE will wake up and tell us how lame it was from GBC to wait till the NC goes to bed/mining/ratting to take down the jammer
No it's not lame at all, it's a sound tactical choice... the lame bit is the continous stream of verbal tripe aimed at the NC for 'blobbing', although we have been outnumbered fleet wise on so many occassions but the choice to not engage was firmly on the GBC side. The only time TriTards and bobbits usually get down and dirty is when they are in big nano gangs and have a fair to awesome chance of escaping, enabling them to run to COAD and start stroking each other again for being supah ****h.
Napfest north, when in fact we currently have around 15 alliances lined up against us? rofl... this is getting so funny it's funnier than a funny thing being funny.

Is it the GBC`s/TRI`s fault that you can`t motivate your grunts to login anymore after you got spanked several times. To me it looks like that the NC finally starts to realising that out of ?10k? in total NC numbers by the beginnnig of MAX only around 200 acctually care and fight. That must be your biggest dissapointment in my opinion. Loosing battles is not a shame, seeing "how much" 80% of your members care is.
Ohhhh shush embarassing yourself, we have a bucketload online but as we are being attacked on several fronts we have to split our forces across several areas. So sometimes any given fleet may struggle to get past the 200 mark but as we generally have several ops running concurrently (sorry more than 2 syllables so i'll make it simpler - AT THE SAME TIME) you go figure it out.
As for the spanking bit, uhuh yea... riiiight.... you still going on about the supercap kills? That argument is now so stale we've already built replacements and a spare or 2 just incase someone screws up again. Because surely you can't be talking about any conventional fights? If you are then please send us all some of what you are smoking, if it gives you those kind of hallucinations we could all do with it to relieve the boredom of work.

Ah ok see what you mean now, when you said 'lose battles' you're not talking about actual fights you're talking about GBC and hangers on stealing in when it's quiet and taking a virtually undefended system!! Okey dokey, just need to get my dictionary back out and cross out the real meaning of the word 'battle' and 'spanking' and insert some random GBC alt jargon which means exactly the opposite of what the rest of the real word assumes it meant.
So lose battles now = 100+ GBC v static undefended pos and spanking = aforementioned pos giving up and going to sleep in ref mode.
Glad you straightened that out for me as i'm sure the rest of the NC are

And why exactly are you allowing BoB to 'take stations in undefended systems'?
Why aren't you defending them?
What was stopping you from doing so, other than your own incompetence?
How dare thee sir!! I'll have you know the young lady in question thought I was highly competent and even dropped me a tip when she left this morning!
Maybe you kinda missed the bit about being attacked by 15 ish alliances on different fronts? Maybe you missed the bit about it being silly o'clock in the am and real people needing real sleep and RL stuff like that? The GBC and butthuggers have had ample ooportunity to take on the NC in various systems even when having numerical advantage and have FAILED. Don't go spouting the same tired rhetoric about caps/supercaps/titans bla bla, that works both ways, so go read a few old threads.
BoB was incapable of defending all of it's space against the last invasion, yea yea it turned out in their favor eventually but they got royally spanked out of how many systems? So why should we be any different? I am not comparing us to BoB, I can't because we smell better and don't where pink (except Gumpy and Cent, they wear pink tights and dance real good together). But the current circumstances are not dissimilar, the outcome however is still to be decided... just keep an eye out for the large lady singing :)

Iron - unfortunately yes, tactically we were in error, we know that, you know that, the rest of Eve knows that, move on. Pure - not over yet dude... large chick is still waiting in the wings song sheet in hand.
Originally by: Butter Dog And then... you actually have the nerve to come on my CAOD and smack BoB for being the ones lacking balls and not engaging?
Well your COAD is my COAD same as every other paying member so the right is mine. The same as is your right to come on in and spout vitriolic bitterness that is at best shrouded in truth but in no way reflects the whole picture. At no point did i say BoB has no balls, and I am not the one smacking, that I leave with tardlets like your good self who's rear is obviously still smarting from the spanking given in the past. As for Bob and balls, i'm just pointing out that we continually get painted with the 'no balls' tag, but in fact we are looking for fights and not getting them as it seems our opponents are only content to engage when 100% sure of a win ie numbers in favor or static opponents such as PoS.
Originally by: Butter Dog NC sit holding hands in happy-clappy NAPland.
dude, and you have the nerve to call me 'psychotically deluded'. A) we don't clap which follows on that we can't be happy clappers either and b) There are at least 15 thats a big 1 and a big 5, stick 'em together and you get 15.... FIFTEEN (thought i would repeat it several times as you seem to have missed it the first time, reading comprehension ftw?) alliances arrayed against us and a couple of inconsequential ones. Or maybe the bitterness within has lead to tunnel vision the result being inaccurate and illinformed posts from you and a few clingons. But hey you keep on feeding your own ego, must be really cool being in bitterdogs bubble world, bit lonely but hell everyone thinks you're awesome over there.

How do you quantify that? Are you monitoring the serotonin levels in my brain and comparing them to your results from 6 months ago?
Dude, if you're going to use big and clever words, use the right ones will you?
Quote: In the central nervous system, serotonin plays an important role as a neurotransmitter in the modulation of anger, aggression, body temperature, mood, sleep, sexuality, appetite, and metabolism, as well as stimulating vomiting.
Although the latter is possibly fun for you given the amount of it you spout on these forums.
But just to be clear, although serotonin is known as a 'feel good' chemical, that's just something the companies who sell it like you to believe. Serotonin deficiency has a negative ie depression, anxiety, aggression (omg i think i know how pink furry hat wearer gets his troops going!!!) and manual intervention through manufactured chemicals is just a way of restoring the balance. So equating serotonin levels to 'fun' is not accurate.
In fact an excess of serotonin can also have deletirious effects including confusion, hypomania, myoclonus, hyperreflexia, shivering/tremors etc etc....

Ho hum, and that bitterdog is a poor attempt at shoring up your already quivering defences. YOU made the comment about fun and measuring serotonin levels when in fact serotonin deficiencies or excesses do not lead to positive effects ie not being fun. I was just correcting your assumptions with actual scientific fact. We all have google and we can all do a quick search and copy/paste, as is fairly obvious with you plucking other big words out of the virtual air to try and establish the high ground once again... fail, fail and fail again.

Originally by: Butter Dog A point in fact: ecstacy (MDMA) acts as an immensely powerful serotonin reuptake inhibitor, and the elevated levels of the drug cause is what delivers the euphoric rush associated with the drug
Anti-depressants such as Prozac target serotonin and act as weak, long term re-uptake inhibitors.
The fact is this: you understood clearly what I meant by my comment, even choosing to go so far as to why it may be flawed. That you chose to take a point and try to turn it into an intellectual debate, then get your facts wrong, really does make you look quite.... special.
Carry on
Errrmmm actually no.
MDMA can have any combination of 3 effects for serotonin levels ie flooding, preventing re-uptake and depletion, causing any of the symptoms previously posted.
But more importantly MDMA consumption can cause the brain to be flooded with serotonin AND dopamine.
It's dopamine which has the 'positive' effect of altering motor functions and arousal levels which is why taking E's give you a glow of well-being, happiness, empathy, euphoria, increases your sensitivity to rhythmic music, and makes you want to dance.
And yes I am special... with very special needs.
And as it stands I have to go home now, jump in my lil space ship thingy and go play with bobbits for a while, been great sparring with you bitter dog, please feel free to come join the real fight in the north if you so wish. I'm sure there's a few of us that would pop over and say 'hi'.

Quote: Effects of MDMA on the Brain
MDMA appears to have several effects on the brain. MDMA can: (<<< note the bold bit)
cause the release of the neurotransmitter called serotonin. block the reuptake of serotonin by the synaptic terminal that releases it. deplete the amount of serotonin in the brain.

[I said: MDMA is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor,<< correct *tick* but only 1 of 3 possibilities, but>> and that is what produces the rush commonly associated with the drug << that bit is more commonly asscoiated with DOPAMINE production.
