Assuming, of course, the Falcon stays in damp range. And I think that's already been discussed to death.
yes, I think people don't take into consideration at what ranges a falcon can jam and at what ranges an arazu can damp a falcon for 100% certain. ---

Or the fact that an Arazu has a covert ops cloak, and could use it to sneak into range of the Falcon before trying to damp.
true, but doing 150km cloaked when you don't have any BM near of the guy means that you'll be doing squat for a while. ---

Let me introduce you to the concept of falloff?
I thought you said you flew Minmatar
Is there a projectile gun with 90km falloff.
Slowly but surely I get the impression you guys want to keep the Arazu and Lach prices down or something.

it's more like the arazu effectiveness at 200km (with Ewar range rigs) is not even the same as the falcon's effectiveness at 200km.
2 range rigs, lvl4 skills gives the falcon full jammer strength up to 212km with racials. that means 12pt racials with only lvl4 skills and no gang mods.
try doing that with an arazu.
anyways, one of the "better" options is the rook actually. 32pts sensor str and base targetting range of 150km. Works with good efficiency paired with an eos. ---

Its also one of the main reasons why solo pvp is dying because around every corner there is a falcon alt removing you completly from a possible gf fight. You have to be quite dense to not understand this. But ofcourse, there seems to be people like that. The same bunch that didnt see the nano nerf coming and thought that was perfectly balanced too.
I would say that atm, it's not that OP.
speed nerf will make them very OP tho. ---

I would say it's still up for grabs, Gangs today are very shortranged in their damage dealing ability but instead very mobile which makes up for it. As speeds slow down, range will once again be a more usefull tactic and we'll be seeing more long range setups which will make a Falcon pilots life more difficult. We'll see how it turns out but I'm fairly sure that people sticking to their gang of blaster megas will get rolled over by evolution.
fair enough. ---
