Alright. So a few days ago I put on a salvage tackle rig on my slasher. I was having fun, and I find a WC. I go trhough, salvaging as usual, then I hit the third stage. For some reason, ALL rats are aggroed on the missioner except a metric shitload of scram rats around the gate. Boom, 20m down and I didn't get a day of use out of it. I'm moderately ****ed.
Yesterday I give about 30 million ISK in salvage parts and a Salvage Tackle BPC to A corpie's alt and get two more salvage tackle rigs. I get a mission and try to test it out.
So I get aggro from a bunch of non-scram rats. No problem, I move to warp out. There's a huge ****ing asteroid in the way. It stops me from warping, I die a horrible death and without a single use of it I'm down about 30 mil.
Maybe I'm not meant to use salvage tackle rigs. Maybe I should have let the whole room aggro the MR before rushing forward to nab the first wreck he popped.

Very simple solution.
Blow up bad guys first, then salvage.

Yeah. I don't have a missionship, as awesome as it would be to get a high-alpha Min arty ship to finish off all his rats and nab the bounties.
