with this last patch the fine art of ninja mining is gonna die out as no one can warp faster than elite frigs can lock you. i have been ninja mining since realease from time to time and to me its the ultimate test seperating miners from miners. any ***** can go into a belt with guns but to go into same belt with no guns take guts. its a sad day ofcourse miners will adapt to other forms of life we are used to being hated by ccp and player community by large that dont wish to aknowledge that we are keeping the game alive by doing what most people hate every ship in eve got minerals from miners and even if we adapt all the time constant beating the hands that keep everything running is not a good idea.
wounder how much flaiming i get from people whining about mining simulation? ;) :P

Wait till they release the crazy idea that MWD's only stay engaged for 4 seconds and that you can only use them in a straight line.

Actually, it is a shame if you cannot mine covertly.
As you are familiar with what is required to do so, perhaps you could suggest some improvements allowing for the presence of these spawns, yet keeping the spirit of 'ninja mining' alive?
Maybe there is a way these spawns could be made less observant to low speed travel or something.

Should I even make an attempt or just self-destruct?
Being able to actually counter the warp scrambling from NPC would be good.

i always thought that npc's warp scramble with 2 in strength.. and 2 wcs were enough :/

Point 1: Punctuation is your friend 
Point 2: Fit 3 WCS. I have NEVER been jammed with this setup while mining or covering mining operations, even while being locked by up to 5 pirate interceptors.
Point 3: Dont dispair! This patch hasnt really changed the way you mine, ninja or otherwise. Experimentation is the key, go on Entropy if you have to!

id say tanked setup with drones and large smartbomb bye bye interceptors but that all depends i suppose on how many expanders u want to use in your low slots.
Missiles are also good against the frigs but id suggest having 2 launchers then

The current miners are being replaced by a better Tech 2 miner, the NPC mining op! 
6.25 mill trit units from 2x Haulers
Oh and yes, going into a belt without guns and running away at the sight of a brain dead NPC takes real "guts" alright!

You better go purchase some intelligence implants. If you've been ninja mining since release and still haven't figured out how to use warp core stabilizers there is something seriously wrong.

Well unless you have 1 warp core stab per interceptor..you're screwed.
I was fitted with em..and still lost my Armageddon to 6 Sansha Daemons...who conveniently stay outside of smartbomb range...after spawning right on top of me.
This patch needs fixing ASAFP.

Use drones mate, the frigates warp jam from about 15k.
I have never had a problem with 3WCS, but maybe that is just my experience...
