Have fun in AoC or WAR in the meantime. WAR seems to be very promising from the beta reports and AoC is in the process of catching up (lead Dev just resigned to leave his place to the guy who brought AO back from the pyre).

My mother found out that there was some few places in the Air Force left. And she also found out that i would be called in to the military anyways in 2009. And if i would wait until 2009 to join the military, i would probably end up on a place i don't really like to be.
But since i got the info that there was some few places left in the Air Force, then i just called them my self and joined them my self . Because the Air Force is a thing i like.
So that's how it all went.

Actually, there's some truth to this, as the most successful PvPers I know ingame are often former military personel.
Considering that the USMC goes with the tagline "every man's a rifleman", I'm not surprised. And I can see slight parallels with dogfighting tactics and small-scale PvP.
So in essense, if he does come back (tbh, I'd probably not come back considering that kick-arse job of flying a jet fighter at mach 1), he's going to have know-how in basic tactics that are applicable in EVE that are useful.

They'd still have to prove it anyway with hard data, like IP addresses. Heck, my "admission" is suspect to begin with because:
1. its the internet, so I can always retract the statement
2. revealing IP addresses is already a breach of privacy
3. if they actually enforced this rule, I can pretty much guarantee 20% of EVE's population would dissapear overnight. I mean, who isnt guilty of asking their relative/spouse/child to swap a skill for them?
anyway, enough worms from the can, leave it for another thread.
Good luck in the airforce mate, and make sure you keep your airspeed and angle of attack positive. Dont want to hit the deck at the worst possible moment (not landing, no landing gear, etc)

Hmm, by reading the web page to the military and the info on the place i'm going, it looks like they don't have F-16, or any Air Crafts there. The only thing they have there is Helicopters, like the Sea King search and rescue-helicopters (330 Sqn).

But helicopters is also fun. I hope to see many ROFLCOPTERS there though.

The longest skillbook i can train now is Marauders from level 4 to level 5, it will take me 48 days to do, so i'll guess i will start that before i leave.
I believe i will be able to get back into EVE to just change skills in some ways within those 48 days.

Now it's only 10 hours left before i'm leaving EVE for 1 year.
And this will be my last reply to this topic.
I will log on EVE tomorrow before i leave to start a new long skill, so i will only be logged on for 5 mins then.
