Wocen	Posted - 2008.09.19 21:48:00 - [1] My main idea is to have some thing in the form of a giant robot that would be physically attached to the out side of the ship but controllable like a drone would be. My specific thoughts are: - More command options instead of just attack maybe have it grab onto a ship to physically slow the ship down. More interactivity is the drive of this part. - Able to have modules like a ship so you can actually make it unique to have and give it different attack and defensive options - Have the number with a person dictated by the size of the ship and skills. ex) maybe 1 for frigates, 2-3 for a cruiser etc. - The main thing for me would be ability to move asteroids. Not with any real speed but still be able to make them move I think would be sweet Please tell me what you think

Just fill in the fluff a bit. Plenty of art, etc. The type of armor the troops wear, weapons, the vehicles, those mtacs. What constitutes an armored division, what the troops have for planet side atmospheric air support.

Voltron Musice in the backround. From across the known EVE gallaxy comes a dozen warships from all races. Forming A Alliance that no other could counter. They were known as the 12 Lions. Battlecruisers and heavy Assult ships - form the Torso. Battleships - Form Arms And Legs. My heavy Assult ship - And I will form the head. And we set across the Eve Gallaxy as rediculously asall as it is. Conquering any warvessels that ever enguages us. Its the best i can recall after 7 years from when Freespace 2 came out. when i saw a similar post in the VBB.

Gorith	Posted - 2008.09.28 08:34:00 - [29] and my fighters should all be veritechs. though seriously not a bad idea though kinda reminds me pet classes in other games. but i think making it a mech would be problematic (imagines the infinite amount of random whines) asfor the ground combat that would be sexy well besides when you run into minmatar who would inevitably look like rejects from a mad max movie
